£4000

Clio 182 Trophy, 85,000 miles. Lots of service history This car is a 189bhp weapon. ktec coilover all around.Full carbon fibre splitter, £250 worth!20mm hubcentric front spacers. Janspeed de-cat exhaust system , sounds unreal !polybush dogbone.solid engine mounts.front aero catches. trs 3 inch aircraft 5 point harness.corbeau revolution bucket seat.rear strut brace.renault sport sabelt steering wheel, cruise control wired up and working. megane short shifter which has been modified even shorter! with a quaife knob.sunstrip.15" team dynamic wheels with brand new yokohamas on the front. rear camber and spacer plates. slim line radiator.189bhp printout. fereodo ds2500 pads and new brembo front discs. Rear roll cage. 10 months mot, Cambelt done at 60,000. This car is not for the faint of heart. it was subject to front end damage, having a new bumper bonnet and front wing. it is cat c registered, but makes the ultimate track car! to make this car perfect the front number would need painting. £4k... for what is now a stripped out cat c 182 with some random bits which have been tracked. Well i guess the paints still red ;) the £2300 its currently bid to is probably too much for it.

Only thing thats is Trophy about it is the "Trophy" decal on the sill, Other than that there is nothing as you can still buy a capsicum 727 standard clio.

That does look, and is, a long list of modifications but if you read it carefully they are a bunch of niff naff and it's really hard not to make the connection between "this car is not for the faint of heart" and the K-Tec coil overs. ;)

Balls of steel needed to drive anything with those.

If you paint the front number it will be perfect, apparently.

So no Sachs shocks, Recaro Trendlines, or Speedline Turini's, think its still got the V6 spoiler but thats it. Not one for the 'purists'

Bugger the purist angle, anyone who uses "ultimate track car" exclamation mark, "This car is not for the faint of heart" and the word "weapon" in his advert is going to get it.

Lol well spotted mate, better get myself down to specsavers ;-). Seriously though all the Trophy bits have gone, that wont ever be an oe car again as it would cost a fortune to change back...

It now seems to have disappeared! At the £4k he wanted it would have made it a hugely expensive cat C 182 and just to stick the knife in further, 189bhp, fairly unlikely without forced induction or bodies with internal work.

I summed up the mentality of the seller based on that and the sentence structure in general.

If you look at the front you will see it is missing some bits and it looks like its also been cut (Under Bonnet)

No slam panel or fuel rail guard? It even looks to have had metal hacksawed away by the near side light.

"Relisted due to time waster" There's some irony or something else in that somewhere, just not very surprised really.
