Hello,

I don't know if this has been mentioned before (I tried Searching) but has anyone read this: http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/community ... &TopicID=9.

Are the ECUs clever enought to do this?

"The oxygen sensors will not be happy as the amount of back pressure in the exhaust would have substantially changed, and this normally causes the illumination of a warning light, and I think it puts the injection in a downgraded mode."

Its the bit in bold i was worried about.

I didn't ask him the question, i just found it whilst looking through the site.

So is it all OK to run the car with the light on? Does the ECU change anything to compensate?

My light came on recently - no change in performance at all.
