Yeah starting the car at 5.30am for work on the odd occasion might annoy my neighbours on one side but the neighbours on the other side can moooo all they want.

I have borrowed an action cam and taken a quick video and it is loud but compared to other videos on YouTube it is not that bad and you can still have a conservation without shouting.

I need to get the hanger adjusted though as it's not sitting right. :tired:

The cows won't complain so I'm good on that side but my neighbour on the other side moaned about the dogs barking 9.30 one night so I'll need to be careful with the early starts. They won't be that frequent do all should be well. :grimacing:

I shouldn't be allowed to reply via my phone as my spelling and grammar is even worse than usually.

First year review.

Tomorrow marks a full year of ownership and having done a fair bit to it it still needs a bit more done to get it how I want it. Some jobs are quite simple and others will require a bit of expense but I'll get there and hopefully in time for the weekender.

My wish list (in no order):-
- Snappy Steering wheel
- New reg plates (slim front plate)
- New battery & ecu bracket
- Carbon Hydro dipped interior trim (so it all matches)
- Dent removal

My cheap exhaust has turned out to be a mistake, as it's far too loud for me and will be getting replaced as quickly as possible.
Looking at a Milltek or a rs192 if I can get hold of one.

Here's to a fun 2017 in the T.

Oops! :tonguewink: It was worth a punt mate!

Yeah, live and learn. :flushed:

With a bit of luck I can move it on and minimise my lose.

I forgot to thank all you guys for your help and input over the past year. Cheers!

Would definitely recommend an rs192 exhaust. Had one on my 182 ff and wasn't loud but had a nice sound when you were giving it some!

Re. Exhausts I had an Ashley group n rally exhaust on my Citroen ax gt when I was younger. Genuinely was so loud I didn't need a stereo and the floor vibrated with the sound..:)

Group N That's hardcore. This thing is loud without any aural delight which I find really odd. It will appeal to someone (I hope).

I wish I picked up a cheap rs192 last year either the 'flood' damaged stock or an ex-display system but finding a new rs192 will be hard as I thought I read they have stopped making them.

I'll fire off a few emails and see if anyone has any stock of either system.

I need new rear exhaust mounts and mounting brackets. I now have 4 broken mounts, going to try filling them with silicone. If anyone has any recommendations for what type to use I'll give it a bash.

Another couple of jobs to add to the list. :smirk:

It's a good list to be getting on with, hope you get it all done before September.

Exhaust was worth a punt looked like a good system. I hope you find one a little less loud.

Not buying a cheap rs192 was one regret closely followed by not buying your BTM system but onwards and upwards.

I'm hoping to get half my list sorted by May, fingers crossed.

Cars due a wee oil change within the next couple of mouths so a couple of jobs should get ticked off then.

Has anyone swapped their steering wheel over themselves?
It looks fairly straight forward just scared of removing the airbag.

I have a spare wheel that I was going to send off to get refurb' but it's in better nick than the one currently in the car.

I used to have an RS192 fitted. It wasn't much louder than the standard exhaust but it had a slightly deeper sound. I fitted a decat pipe to it which made it considerably louder.

It was a nice system, however, I had a constant alignment problem with it. It would line up in the cut outs nicely once fitted but it used to move as it warmed up which made it look awful. It moved so much that it once melted the plastic trim. I believe the problem was due to there being 2 back boxes which were bolted together rather than being welded in position. I tried my hardest to make it work but it just wasn't having it. Another problem was with the weight of the back boxes, they we're quite heavy and as a result they put a lot of stress on the rear mounts, I ended up having to pack them out to stop them sagging so much, you could get away with this now by using the power flex exhaust mounts, I suppose.
