Damper Clicks/Turns

My clickers have seen better days and I can't hear or feel the clicks sometimes.

I am hoping to return them to the standard 22 clicks but as I say the clicker seems a bit vague.

I was wondering how many clicks are in a full turn, if anybody has ever tried/tested this before.

Any information will be useful

The underside of the red adjuster has a series of notches. Set into the top of the remote cylinder is a spring with a ballbearing sitting on top. When you rotate the red adjuster the notches move over the ballbearing and it "clicks" into each of the notches. It's probably just gunked up. When Mark F unpinned mine we went from hard to soft counting, 43!?!!!!
