Less than a thousand miles in about 15 months so not really getting any use.

Good thing is we have bern tracking down the last missing bits to finish the build





So complete springs and shocks set - tick .

Do the rear springs have a white & red colour marking on them?

Did you buy the rear strut's from RPD or have you had them in storage for a while ???

Judging from the single white paint mark and the part number 7700436850 present on the labels those are standard 182 rear springs. The Cup/Trophy spec spring with the red and white paint marks and part number 8200342862 have sadly not been available from Renault for quite some time.

Hi they were the Cup springs apparently speaking g to Andy which I believe were pretty much the same as the Trophy ones.

Will need to look for rings when next at the garage.

Had the front springs from the relatively recent special order organised on the forum.

Yes the car was based in Fulham but in a garage under a cover now we have getting to the end of adding the toys / getting the detailing etc done

Has anyone managed to discover a source of OEM spec aftermarket springs? I have a horrible feeling when mine need replacing there won't be any to refit!

Just got it out of storage at my mates and looking good even with the patina of 17 years use

There was a set of spares being ordered up and made by one of the members and a lot of people bought them. OMP will remake with enough orders

Plus I have all “my precious” suspension spares in one place now

Actually found this fitting guide on RAC which has fit and also which one fits and recommended - so Pro Elite it is

Another little task for 271 I didn’t know we could do but great result.
Changed the wipers and noticed there was some scuff marks on the rear glass.
Bit of YouTube research and a quick purchase of the following kit. ( Also used on my daughter’s Mini which had more noticeable scuffs too.)

Works really well though best masking up with newspaper to save a long
wash after.
Only 25 quid - well worth it and also works on lime scale on house windows
