I’ve owned the car since 2019 and in that time I’ve slowly been tinkering with it and fixing any problems.
My intention was to use it for occasional track days but I’m struggling to find the time and money to put into it since I had a child (the usual culprit).
Instead, it has just been sat in my garage/driveway and isn’t getting any real use. The car does now drive perfectly has no issues other than those mentioned below. I’m obviously going to be very sad to see it go but I’m really not getting any use out of it.
Details
• 101,840 miles
• MOT with no advisories until Feb 2025.
• Front Sach dampers refurbed in 2019 by Corning Force (less than 2000 miles ago)
• The car is cat D. I have no information regarding this other than what the previous owner wrote in their advert in 2019 (The car looks great & drives brilliantly but is subject to an insurance claim due to light panel damage to the rear bumper and boot lid in 2013 (Cat D) it was professionally repaired by the previous owner. A test drive & viewing will confirm it looks great, handles fantastically & is mechanically perfect.)
• Powerflex engine mounts (fitted prior to my ownership).
• Cambelt and alternator replaced by Diamond Motors at 101,2240 miles in September 2021.
• Scorpion exhaust with sports cat and decat included (decat not fitted).
• Mark Fish springs fitted front and rear in last 100 miles.
• PMS front and rear spacers fitted (10mm rear, 18mm front).
• Strongflex front suspension wishbone and arb bushes in last 200 miles.
• I have a file containing the cars history, service and parts receipts, all previous MOT's, all booklets held, service records etc..
Additional information
• Spark plugs changed at 101,200 (NGK Laser Platinum).
• New track rod end, track rod, ball joint and new hub at 101,200.
• Rear discs and pads replaced at 101,200.
• Rear belts are included but not fitted. It was my intention to get them rewebbed to match the font belts but I’ve not gotten around to it.
• Brake lines flushed in last 100 miles.
• I’ve had the entire interior out and cleaned everything so it’s spotless.
• No sticky or pealing plastics.
• Gear gaitor restitched in red.
Small Mods
• Front seatbelts rewebbed in red by Kolour Koncept.
• Metal Trophy seat plaque for both sides (original saved with the documentation).
• Powerflex exhaust mounts.
• Alternator bracket.
• Custom mats by Autostyle.
Bad Bits
• Alloys could do with a refurb.
• Arches are showing signs of rust around the petrol cap (usual places).
• Windscreen could do with a replacement (usual amount of stone chips for a 100k car).
• There is a small knocking sound coming from the OSF when pulling away from stationary. I think it’s either the brakes sticking, the top mounts or the engine mounts. I’ve not had time to investigate any further unfortunately.
• The previous few MOTs mentioned an oil leak which I can’t pinpoint. It wasn’t on the last MOT so I’m not sure if this is still an issue or if it was leftover oil from a previous filter change (that I got all over my driveway).
