Hi all,

I am after an indoor car cover for my 182 trophy namely to protect it from scratches when I get my push bike out for work.. garages in Bristol aren’t very big so space is pretty tight

Anyone got any recommendations please

Thanks

Pete

Yeah dont scratch your car when you get your bike out, unless your T is a garage queen, and you keep it spotless clean, the car cover is going to scratch your car more than your bike!!

You can get a decent soft genuine Renault sport one of you have upwards of £140+

They are not actually made for the Clio 182 but they are a perfect fit and cover tihhh down to the alloys and under the sills

I am not sure a 127k trophy is a garage queen but nevertheless a cover seems like a wise decision or maybe I just cover my bike in bubble wrap! However that could slow my daily commute down

I buy my car covers from www.classicadditions.com

They do options for a super stretch or a totally custom made cover. Both are excellent quality. I have a custom fit for my R5 GTT, and have ordered one for my Trophy (Takes around 3-4 weeks to make)

I have just a super stretch one on my BMW M2

I bought a Cosmos indoor cover via Amazon earlier in the year. Was £30 at the time. Got good reviews on Amazon and on Auto Express. Only thin as most indoor covers are so can’t say it would offer any major protection against a bike but I just wanted something to keep the dust off whilst car is garaged over winter. 51BC1DBE-AE56-4E8D-BC4E-FE880E238394.jpeg

Try a Renault personnel  I got mine free at Renault when they changed from purple to yellow (or grey may be) color with new Renault logo. Renault sport just did the same going from "Renault Sport" to "RS" for the logo. In both instances, they can't use the old stock on show cars or sell the old type cover and they just destroy them or give them away to employees (that's how I got mine ). Also try over the counter if they still have old stock they're willing to sell for pennies
