Have spoken to a trophy user who bought some of these R1 sachs years ago and fitted them and he says they are exactly the same in terms of the ride quality - felt no different to the original dampers.

Mine are “delayed (in France) due to severe weather”. No updated delivery day yet.

My order is still stuck at an airport in Paris because of severe weather. I'm guessing it'll be next week now :-(

No black plastic cap over the top of the main body, anyone got a 3D printer? There is a guide to unpinning them from the very early days somewhere. Fairly simple but you do have to be careful you do not bend the main adjuster pin.

As they have the added wiper seal in the revised top cap do they then not need the black plastic cap over the top of the main body?

Maybe but the Twingo dampers I have do have the black cover.

first question... are the 2mm hex screws that go sideways into the adjuster visible is a good start. heard them sometimes they are in an odd orientation so you cannot get at them and some time have been sealed over.
