Amount of oil to buy

Hi all to anyone thats changed there oil or got there own for a garage to do. I just wanted to know how much people buy, it seems you need 5.2l but they come in 5l? Or 1l do you buy 6l in total? Cheers

I bought a 5l bottle and a 1l bottle.

Ye, I used about 5.2l then you have 800ml left to top up with.

The extra 0.2l makes next to no difference on the dip stick level- it will be well above the minimum level without it. It does however make it a PITA when buying oil.

5.25 is the actual amount of oil you need, the 0.25 will show 4/5 on the oil indicator level within around a month of driving.
