Alarm question

Came back to my car yesterday and when i disabled the alarm it beeped twice, its never done this before, it usually just unlocks with no beep, then i noticed cat paw prints on the windscreen, has it sensed that somethings touched it? or will it have been going off?

If it beeps when you unlock it then this means the alarm has sounded. You can then look at the red alarm light in the centre console as this will blink a certain amount of times to tell you what caused the alarm to sound - interior sensor, door etc.
