Bought a this standard airbox to replace a K & N filter that is currently fitted. Having a quick look at the connection it doesn't appear the same fitting. Have I bought the wrong box or does the Trophy have a different hose connector?
Any help appreciated. It is just the hose with the wider end fitting that doesn't look like it will connect properly.

Hi, the one you have pictured is just the cold air supply that goes down towards the bumper, you need to get hold of the pipe that goes to the throttle body

That looks fine, I can't remember exactly now but I'm not sure that is connected to anything but a hole in the bulkhead,

Thanks guys. I have the pipe that connects to the throttle body, just not pictured. It is the the pipe pictured that goes down towards the bumper that looks like it should connect to another pipe but is the wrong fitting. Will get another picture up when I have removed the existing filter.

Like I said, I don't think that hose connects to another hose, the end fits into a hole behind the the front light. There is another hose that does go down behind the bumper to the acoustic valve that fits into that hole in the bottom of the box. It's been ten years since I removed mine but I think hat is correct.

Hopefully the pictures show that the pipe end is to large to connect to the lower pipe coming from the front air intakes. Or am I being a bit thick, does it just press against the lower pipe. if this is correct the pipe will not make a good seal?

That looks to be aftermarket, I thought it went into the hole in the bulkhead to the right of the hose in that last picture. I'll go and have a look.

I don't have that hose in my box of air box bits so I guess it's part of your previous aftermarket air intake.

Think I have got it ! You are right, the hose is definitely aftermarket which means the connector should attach to this on the bulk head?20170107_154110.jpg

^ This. As far as I recall yes. It also looks as though you have the hose down to the acoustic valve. Is all of that in place still?

Think I have it all sorted. Everything looks in place, thanks. Just one more question, in the last but one picture you can see a plug connector that seems to go nowhere. Is this supposed to be redundant?

For some reason I can't see that set of pictures any more, problem my end. That looked like the lead to the bonnet sensor. If not that it could be the lead that controls the valve.

Is it supposed to connect somwhere or is it redundant in a Trophy?
