Aftermarket stereo and connects2 adaptors

Has anyone fitted an aftermarket stereo using the connects2 adaptors to enable the steering stalk controls and "clock display" to work? Toying with a replacement head, but want to make sure the adaptors work OK first. Also, any recommendations for replacement speakers that fit the existing surrounds? Cheers.

Yeah they do, I have a connects 2 adaptor and everything you need if your after one as no longer use it.

I have one too, but couldn't get it to work!
It drained my battery if I left it connected.
Would be interested to know what wires you cut on the adaptor

Also depends on the headunit.
