A couple of nights in the engine bay

Just looking at this old thread as I want to tidy up my engine bay. I've bought a spare inlet manifold to get it vapour blasted, along with a battery cover and ECU mount repair part (from CFAB). Can I ask how you painted the top of the engine as I assume it requires lots of masking etc. ? Thanks. Looks great (or did then and am sure it still does).

Hi Ian, given I’ve probably done 50 miles since I did it yes it looks very much the same. I used hycote crinkle finish paint. Very easy to use if you follow the directions on the can. Obviously stripped most of the stuff off the top of the engine then masked the rest. It too onerous. Give it a go

Hi what was the name of the company you used please I'm in Yorkshire and wouldn't mind getting my inlet etc done.

Brilliant if he wouldn't mind can we contact him to carry out blasting works as he has done for you. He's made a great job.
