I've been deliberating for a while now as to whether I should sell the Trophy but with a 1275GT and a Golf Mk2 track car it doesn't get the use it should since it was replaced as the daily last August. Oh, and a baby on the way in August :eek:penmouth:.

I have owned it for 2 1/2 years now, it currently has 9 months MOT (Mar 2018) and passed with no advisories last time round. Mileage is 92k and won't change much.

The all important dephaser pulley and cambelt were done with aux belt at KTEC around 10k miles ago (Jan 2016) and the Sachs were rebuilt at BG just before I bought the car.

More recently I have had new ABS rings and a sensor fitted plus 2 new rear calipers, pads, discs, bearings and a solid brake line section from Renault with new brake fluid and Ferrodo DS3000's fitted to the front (standard pads to come with car too- Ferrodo's are awesome though!) with new bleed nipples. Outer CV boots have been changed recently and the inner ones were changed mid 2015. 182 Cup rear dampers were fitted in October and whilst the back end was apart the underside was cleaned and stonechipped for protection. A full service at KTEC was carried out on 90346 miles. I completed a couple of oil changes during my ownership after 10k miles. The car was used as my daily driver for 18 months where I covered approx 20k miles (mostly motorway).

There is a substantial amount of history with the car, I bought it from someone who had it as their number 4 car so it was looked after very well before me as well which is why I got it. I am owner number 7.

The wheels were refurbished as soon as I bought the car and are 99% immaculate, there is a couple of chips on the powder coating where a wheel was dropped when it was having some work done, they are wrapped in Michelin PS3 with plenty of life left on them.

The Recaros do not have any signs of wear on the bolsters, and are generally in very good condition, there was a new gearstick gaitor fitted not long before I bought the car but the steering wheel has suffered from slight melting although I don't think it's as bad as I have seen on other cars. Original radio still in place with everything working as it should within the interior.

Bodywork is generally good for the age, there are a couple of light scratches, the worst being on the rear bumper as shown in the pictures, slight bubbling on the front edge of the bonnet and a very small piece on the rear edge of the o/s/r wheel arch. If the car was detailed and polished I am sure it would come up very well - a quick wax for its beauty shots have seen it come up nicely - so much so it made me not want to sell it! The headlights could do with a refurb or replace as they have yellowed.

The car drives as you would expect with no lights on the dash - an episode of the EML was cured by a cat being fitted (decat pipe included in sale) from KTEC - their sport version, the exhaust is a one-off stainless which sounds great - If i were keeping it my next job would be to change the tailpipes for pure cosmetic reasons and the tailpipe trim on the bumper could also do with replacement as it was melted slightly before I fitted new exhaust mounts.

I hope the pictures do the car justice - i'm not in a crazy rush to sell it as I want it to go to the right buyer, it is a very genuine car which I have enjoyed owning very much but it needs to go to someone else who will have more time than me to enjoy it.

Price £6950

I'm based on the Suffolk/Norfolk border near Diss, viewing welcomed but only test drives with proof of insurance please. Please text or call 07515254487. Thanks OliIMG_5886.JPG IMG_5922.JPG IMG_5919.JPG IMG_5918.JPG IMG_5917.JPG IMG_5906.JPG Wheels.jpg Wheel Arches.jpg Niggles.jpg Rear.jpg

How much did you get for it?

Mine is on a similar mileage and I'm curious as if it's anywhere near the asking price then it's good evidence these really have gone up noticeably in value. It's one thing seeing higher asking prices and another thing what they're actually selling for.

At £6950 I would have thought it was worth all of that.
