So 307 will shortly be making its first trip in more than five years across to AW. I have a whole list of things that I would like done to the underneath and engine but I know will have forgotten something. So if you were having a major refurb, what would you be wanting to have done?

Go……

A new clutch made such a difference on mine Jules - made the pedal feel light and modern.

Really looking forward to your progress Sir

The list would be long!

Budget dependent, I would have the following done

All fluids changed (engine, gearbox, coolant, brake)
Cambelt/water pump/dephaser
New disc and pads all round
New tyres
Spark plugs
All filters
Sachs refurbed
Suspension related parts (ball joints etc)

Brings back bad memories Stef - no only joking 🤔🤔

I’m not sure my wife understood how much effort/money it took to recommission my T as she says if I peg it she will just give mine away -

I have a fairly healthy budget (spent a lot of last summer in hospital etc rather than a holiday and this years holiday cash will be going the same way) as I only want to to this once (ish) A lot of that list was done shortly before I stopped using it so I will save something on parts there. I am hoping the Sachs I had refurbed a few years back will still be good🤞Discs and pads are all as good as new but will be taking my lead from AW on stuff like that but you have reminded me of front wheel bearings.
I hadn’t thought about the clutch as car is only on 57k but will mention that and see what they think.
Just thought of power steering as well, this is useful 🙂
