So 307 has finally been booked in for a refurbish after a long stay in storage and for one reason or another the car with need to be transported to the garage. Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom or any experience. The AA use a company called AnyVan which doesn’t fill me with confidence but ant recommendations of others out there.

Do you not have any mates in the area that has a car trailer.? So long as you have a car to tow it with.?

Failing that, there should be lots of people in your area that has flatbed transporters.

I know where I live there is a wealth of them about...

I wish, I do have a friend with a trailer but I’m loath to tap him up as AW will be an all day round trip. Just looking at all the options really.

Do AW know of someone who could do a round trip and collect the car from you? When mine went to Mick at Diamond once, he was able to recommend a guy close to him who was excellent.

Hi there, I can recommend a guy I've used numerous times over the years. He's in Cardiff but travels all over the country.
