For Sale: No. 265/500 Clio 182 Trophy.

I am a Renaultsport enthusiast and also own Trophy number 263, unfortunately I need to offer 265 for sale as I just don’t have room to keep her with another car on order.Highlights:• Just 2 previous owners. (Original owner had the car for 16 years)
• MOT valid till 2/5/2023 the car has done less than 200 miles since it was tested, total mileage now 118,800
• Very well presented after full exterior re-spray in 2021 (Car was insurance Cat S after being hit whilst stationary, more details below)
• Clutch, timing belt, water pump and aux Belt replaced Nov 2019, battery and alternator replaced Jan 20
• 2 Keys
• Useable appreciating classic car so only increasing in value now.

Exterior:
• The bodywork is in fantastic condition for a 17 year old car due to the respray in Spring 2021, so no pink plastic or panels, no rust or paint blemish bubbles at all, no stone chips. Just a couple of age related marks / small dings/ and a light scratch pictures show these. I would rate it 9/10 and better than 95% of Trophies left on the road bodywork wise
• Recent deep clean (with wheels off) and detailed - paintwork gleams as it should.
• All the shut lines and panel gaps are all good across the car
• The original Turini wheels are in excellent condition with no scuffs or kerb damage (wheel nuts also have caps to improve finish) Locking wheel nuts x 4 present along with the Renault key.
• ‘Trophy’ Stickers all good (additional numbered sticker added to the rear and spares included)
• All original tailgate badges replaced to make it factory correct with new parts.
• Tyres are Uniroyal Rainsport 5 all round with less than 600 miles travelled since fitting so as new with 7/8 mm tread remaining.
Interior:
• The interior in great condition, some minor marks as expected but nothing major and its 95% standard with all correct trim in place.
• Recaro seats- Drivers seat is cracked on side as most do through wear but alcantara is in good order, Passenger seat is in excellent condition no damage. Seats are universal and can be swapped if required.
• Correct rear bench fitted and in good condition.
• Heater panel has been replaced in the past and is like new
• Steering wheel in good order, some melting as these do but original thumb grips still present and in great condition.
• Original head unit in perfect working condition
• Good condition floor mats
• Original gear knob with new red top (still have the factory part in folder but its faded and worn)
Mechanical & Electrical:
• The car drives very well and feels tight.
• Engine bay is standard apart from panel filter and in excellent condition.
• No front Sachs dampers present, car is running cup suspension and springs a popular alternative.
• Custom stainless steel exhaust fitted, it was decated but I have had a sports cat fitted to the car last September so its road legal for no MOT issues and no noise drone as a result.
• Everything works as it should with no warning lights on the dash.
Insurance write off details:
The car was written off (Cat S) in Jan 2021 after it was crashed into whilst parked up, the car was then sold via Copart and given a new lease of life by Richard (used to work for RS Four Ashes specialist)
This included repairing and replacing all damaged parts and a full exterior respray of the car, full history of the car from 2005 till present day it logged on the Clio Trophy page. Service History/Paperwork:
Limted as original service history from first owner was destroyed by Copart due to stupid Data protection laws, original owner confirms via forum car was maintained as it should be (he did have it for 16 years and was gutted when it got damaged) and that the Clutch, Timing belt, water pump and Aux Belt replaced Nov 2019, Battery and alternator replaced Jan 20 .
New service book and pack included as original was destroyed by Copart and recent jobs recorded.
Recent paperwork from the jobs I have completed.
Works completed during my ownership mainly via Lee at the Renault Specialist West Bromwich -
•Sept 21 – New spark plugs and Ram air filter fitted, Oil and filter change, New rear discs and pads (Genuine Renault), Service front breaks and fit new Pads, new coil pack.
• May 22 – replaced down stream oxygen sensor and plug lead, Mot test.
