This is a trophy to be used/driven. Modified to make it more fast road/track focused.

Massive History File (x 2 service history books) over 9k spent by me in the last 5 years.

Cambelt done 2018 at Diamond Motors

Gearbox rebuilt, plus new valeo clutch 2017

Sachs Done 2015 less than 20k ago

Mechanicals.

Massive history file, every bush etc. has been replaced in the last 5/6 years all with less that 15k on them so is tight as can be. All recipets/invoices for works done I have.

Serviced this year at less than 500 miles ago.

Never missed a service, done minimal miles between services recently. Had loads of brake fluid changes and coolant changes. I have been having ATE blue brake fluid changed yearly as well. with its yearly services, all been Millers 5w-40 competition oils and Renault filters.

Diamond Motors have looked after it the last 5 years.

Full cambelt kit (waterpump, aux etc.) done at Diamond Motors 2018 the third time its had a cambelt.

PMS shifter fitted at Diamond Motors. Gearbox oil currently Redline stuff.

Gearbox rebuilt with new Valeo clutch done by Aaron Auto's who race 182's in 2017.

Sachs done at corner force 2015.

Last year it had, plugs, leads, coil pack, injectors, thermostat all Renault.

Recent power steering pump and alternator both o.e. Power steering fluid changed.

Scorpion Centre Section with Upgraded Mounts & Clamps (Scorpion Back-box)
Bosch Pre & Post-Cat Lambda Sensors

Induction kit

New Front Calipers (pagid, to be fitted soon new not remanufactured) Mocal Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hoses, ATE blue fluid,
OEM Rear Discs & Pads, OEM Brake Pedal Switch, Brembo HC Front Discs, PBS front pads ( to be fitted with the calipers) All brakes less than 5k old

Power steering cooler kit to be fitted from Advolcult motorsport same time as the new calipers/pads.

Eibach Sportline Springs, Koni Sport Rear Adjustable Dampers incl Rear Top Mounts, All bushes etc have been replaced in the past.

4-Wheel Alignment for fast road/track done 2020

Whiteline Rear-Anti-Roll-Bar

Exide 5 year warranty battery kept on a ctek

Interior

Safety Devices rear cage fitted by Mark Fish, done properly with welded strengthens underneath. all undersealed etc.

Recaro pole position drivers seat and Schroth harness.

New Sparco steering wheel from Renault, with cruise control from volantech fitted and all working.

Scanguage fitted in place of the clock to measure coolant temps, 0-60, 1/4 mile times etc.

Alpine DAB Headunit with DAB Aerial, In Phase Aluminum Diecast Subwoofer under the passenger seat with controller mounted next to steering wheel, Alpine Type-G Front Door Co-Axial Speakers and rear speakers.

Rear boot mat.

New Renault mats.

Air con ice cold and re gassed recently. Panel not peeling and no nasty old trim with peeling bits or sticky surfaces.

Exterior

Its had some bodywork over the years, I had a brand new bonnet from Renault fitted as the old one was dinted. Sprayed up as well as the wings blended, the rear boot handle and the roof rails, shines up good. Its also had the bumpers done it the past.

x2 sets of wheels, original with 5/6mm Eagle f1's on less than 3 years old and a set of Team Dynamics pro race 1.2's in the correct offset and center bore so bolt straight on with a year old set of Nankang AR1's.

182 Xenon's

Its not a low mileage concours car, but least you can use this one as intended and have some fun and not worry about putting mileage on it.

Spares

I have pretty much everything to return this to standard, rear cage can be un bolted and your only left with the underneath supports. Front drivers trendline is mint and has been refurbed, original wheel is mint and was done by snappy, original airbox, clock, bits of trim, rear bench etc etc.

Got a set of Jon Foz extra low seat bases as well.

Ownership

Car has been all over Europe and done 4/5 trackdays and has been a joy to own. The last few years its only done 1500 miles per year roughly. Its never thrashed from cold. Only selling as I have a good few cars and going to sell them all, and have just one to rinse me of all my money. Instead of a fleet rinsing all my money.

Only fitted in my eyes, very good bits, anything needed has been done, and most times over the top or replaced just for my peace of mind not actually failed.

Known on the trophy register from new with all the cars history and pics on there.

I have spent easily over 9k in my ownership on upgrades and getting it right, I trust it to go anywhere and have done without fault.

Don't really want to strip bits off sell separately, all the bits in/on the car could be sold for a good few quid, but I think its what makes the car.

Based in Leicestershire

Got loads more pics if anyone wants any.

Looks better than the “other” one despite that having less than half the miles under its belt.

That looks like a real beauty and that it's been well taken care of.

Best of luck with the sale,at least it looks like you still have a little terrier of a car there beside it to put a smile on your face ?

You don't see too many black Mini's.

Great car, some good photos, hopefully you will find a buyer happy to accept the deviation from standard. It does narrow the appeal of the car as many will no doubt want something as close to standard as possible. Good luck though

Gone through the history properly and it’s had over 20 oil changes in its life.

There are actually even more that but there just invoices for self services between stamped and invoiced at a garage services.

That Mini is the wife's 998cc rocket ship.

Yeah will see how it goes, going to keep a few spares like the second set of wheels etc. as I don't think they will add much value to the auction. People normally want standard ones and if it doesn't sell will probably have to put it back, but don't want to really. As after you have been sat nice and low the original seat seems really high and awkward same with the shifter.
