182 steering wheel

In my continuing quest to restore the trophy I'm after a spare steering wheel that I can send off for restoration.

Does anyone have one going spare.

Royal have an exchange service - not sure if you have looked into that ????

However I was looking at one on Facebook yesterday but it looks like the post has been taken down - £40.

I tried to buy it, ended up reporting the post as they came across as a scammer.

My advice is get a slot booked in with Snappy (Andrew Mayer) via WhatsApp-he is usually booked up 2 months ahead, then keep an eye on eBay in the meantime. The wheels come up regularly enough for circa £40.

Then you’ll have it and be ready to post to him when your slot comes round.

My original wheel was too good to cut up so that’s what I did.

Snappys retrim is worth waiting for, the quality is unreal, to the point it is nearly too nice to put in the car and use lol

Snappy does a great job. I had 2 steering wheels done, one for the T and one on my TVR Chimaera..[ the TVR one was in full alcantara ],, super grippy.
Both cars now sadly with there new owners...
