My mates 182 Cup has been off the road now for around 6 months due to noticing white spoke coming from the exhausts. I have offered him a grand for it to which he accepted however will not pay until I have seen engine condition this friday.
Sounds to me like head gasket may have gone. The story goes, he was driving down motorway when large amounts of white smoke started appearing from exhausts. He got it home fine driving light and parked up and it hasn't moved since. The car still starts fine and ticks over nicely but with obvious white smoke coming from exhausts.
Small amount of residue underneath the car from where it has been parked, maybe a bit of oil or coolant leakage???
I am viewing car this friday so will have a better understanding of whats could potentially be wrong.
What does this sound like?
Is there a likely fault of an F4R engine on 70K miles that this could be?
What are your views? my plan is to fix and sell
