Don't want a signet ring scarred jobby tho, so might have to cough up.
Still not sure whether too but it's amazing how different a shift can feel with a changed knob and I remember it from my old 172 to be a pretty tactile thing.

Just checked my PM's over on ClioSport and the price I got quoted was £78. That was from Adam at Renault Wolverhampton.
Not sure I'd spend that much myself, my second-hand one is mint condition after a polish and like I said, it was only £30.00, so quite a saving.
I have yet to fit it though. Just collecting parts ready for the next time it goes in for a service. Will be fitted along side a Powerflex Dogbone mount and Yanoo Stiff Shift Kit 3.0. Will also be having the gearbox oil changed.
I agree with you though, the knob by itself should make for a big improvement. Feels much better than the standard item.
