1.8 16valve problem need help

i have a chance of a real cheap clio 1.8 16valve but it has a problem-
The garage said the circlip has came off the driveshaft pin?
does this mean a new shaft? new gearbox? or can you just get the part needed?

no you can buy just the circlip, but be warned iv had a few valvers that kept spitting the circlip out again and again, we had it down to 40 mins to drain the box, take off the wheel,take out the shaft, new circlip, all back together and oil back in lol
