Knowing your appreciation for rare RS cars I thought I would draw your attention to a worthy replacement to the little Tomato.
I know because it replaced my Trophy almost 4 years ago.

Thought you might appreciate something a little mono-tone.

Hi guys,
Not been on the forum for ages since I defected to an R26. (which I still have)
Anyway since selling the Trophy my wife has had a 197 Cup and currently a Storm Grey 200.
Unlikely to intrest you boys but with the cup pack its pretty hardcore and with the leather & colour its very...
Yeah I did not bother getting drawn into the disc discussion. But the previous owner said he had changed them for corrosion.
Asking Price Yes.
I see people undervaluing there cars on these forums constantly. I see two groups of buyers.
1. Those that love Clio's and see the Trophy as a little...
SOLD :D
To some very nice people.
To add probably the most interest I have ever had in any car I have owned.
My driveway is now all Black & White with a R26 & 197 Cup. Both Glacier White with Black Wheels & Mirrors. Who said you have to grow up.
Neither as much fun as the Trophy but both...
Thanks for that used the advert template that I used when I sold our 182 last year.
Hopefully updated now. I think there are only 3 on Pistonheads (if you ignore the blue & silver ones of course!!!) at the moment so pretty thin on the ground.
Had a couple of calls & couple of PM's. Everyone is...
The time has come to part with my Trophy.
I actually had it up for sale in Feb & had quite a bit of intrest. But alas I had to withdraw from sale as the the deal on my replacement fell through & a day later my wonderful baby daughter was born..... 8 weeks early.

I have a White R26 Lux.
Came from ( & still have) a Trophy.
Great cars alot easier to drive. Lighter Steering & Clutch. Better Ride quality. However easier may mean less engaging.
Low down torque is really noticable difference. Noise is nice too at low end of rev range a real rumble.
Rattles...
I have missed all the cars I have owned for different reasons.
But I am glad I have owned them all. If you change try to get something really different - Scooby, M3, M5, 2 Seater.
Dont just get another hot hatch or else comparisons wont be favourable. You can always come back to another...
Thanks for your "positive" feedback. I am always surprized when an owner forum talks the price of there cars down.
I have had more genuine intrest in 4 days than any other car I have sold..... ever.
BUT.
I am actually withdrawing it from Sale as the car I was going to be collecting in two...
Time to move on as need four doors after my poor effort with a baby seat yesterday. My perfect world of Trophy & R26 has to end.

The funny thing is the other new Registered users on the EVO site have very similar names to those posted above.
And another has Troph...... as part of it.
I guess they are getting some New Registrations on the EVO site from our membership.
Registered & Voted.
Upto 55.6%
I think it went up by about 0.5% so probably 200 votes in total with about a 110 for the red one.
Lucky not many people have a Ford GT.
Was walking through Industrial estate about 3pm and there was one just a little along from Renault Dealers.
Then about an hour later one went over the level crossing (different number plate)
Mine was in the Multi-Story about 200 metres away.
Common as ice on the roads.....
Yes just yank it. You keep thinking its about to break up until it pops off. Had to take mine off when I got a new steering wheel under warranty.
Miricles do happen. :D
The replacement wheel had a silver coloured one. Guess what he trophy trim is a dirtier titanium colour.
Had to go back to...
After the credit crunch slump its nice to see a good selection of Trophy's back up at the £8k mark.
I'm just waiting for the 197 values to drop below! To put a smile on my face. :D
This is from a man who had an E30 M3 when it was worth less than an E36 & E46 M3. Maybe I should have kept that...

Car of the year in previous years had 2 sections.
1. Real world car of the year - not sure of the Criteria probably £40k ish.
The Trophy won this. (out of 13)
2. The top 2 from Section 1. went up against all the new supercars.
The Trophy was 3rd. (out of 10)
Pretty much the only...
Got mine today. Great front cover on the Subscriber Issue.
Pity the Megane RS250 did not make it to Car of the Year. I suppose there will be an uprated one for next year.
Indeed I expect clued up buyers to be knocking £500 off the price if the car has not had Dampers done.
I see a real differential opening up next year in 2nd hand values in Trophys that are selling with Dampers Refurbed/Cambelt changed and those that have not.
If you dont know what you are...
People who are selling should try & hold the price up.
We should be trying to get some clear space between Trophy's & normal 182's.
I guess some of the factors on price will be how much work needs doing. If Shocks have just been Refurbed & Cambelt done. Would be some real sweateners worth...
Passenger side still has film on sill (pealing) and on Recaro Base.
Cant trust those passengers to be careful.
Been tempted to remove from the sill though.
Curveball.
I had a Brabus Roadster Coupe before the Trophy.
Great Economy. Lots of Fun. Outstanding handling. A little slow on gearchange. Short Service Intervals.
On the plus side you can get them for the same as you'd sell your Trophy. Even cheaper if you pick one up in winter months.
You...
