This seat is in pretty much mint condition, I'm selling it due to a complete change of plans.
It comes with Recaro sidemounts and a set of runners, the base mount shown in the picture is not avaliable.
I originally purchased this seat from Capital Seating, who are the official Recaro importers...
The ball joints aren't pressed in to the wishbone, they are just bolted in, its a straightforward 2 nuts and bolts to undo the balljoint from the whshbone, you slot the new bolljoint into the same 2 holes and do up the new nuts and bolts supplied, then fit the joint back into the hub, easy...
Alas, the car has been sold :( So these little beauties need a new home. They are Team Dynamics ProRace 2's - 15" x 7" with an offset of ET40, so only a 5mm differance from the original trophy wheels. I've used them on my 182 with no problems whatsoever.
The wheels have covered approximately...
Jesus you got that quick, when I ordered mine, Scorpion had ran out and I waited about 6 weeks!
The back boxes look massive when they are sitting there in front of you, but they really aren't that big compared to the standards. Also the brace between the tailpipes on mine was too long by about...
My money is on this:
http://www.mongooseexhausts.com/mongoos ... xhaust.htm
Seems to be the only twin backbox exhaust with a fixed brace between the tailpipes
Are the wheels the same as these?:

If so they are spot on for the Trophy - Oz F1's , as fitted to the Mk1 172 - I think the offset is ET43, standard trophy wheels are ET45 so anly 2mm out on the offset, the stud pattern will be the same.

RSport sell the official race car ones, though they don't have a website, they are based in Wimbledon.
I'll have a look at the thread on my standard one tomorrow.

I'm sure you'll like it Ben, I think the sound has 'matured' on mine since I've had it, Sounds better now than it did when it was new although I can't say why!
Worth buying the decat to try out, but, If you don't like it for any reason they sell for £50 easily on Cliosport.

I've got a Scorpion, but not heard a yozza. Love the sound of my exhaust and I hate anything loud and attention drawing, I fitted a decat to the scorpion a couple of weeks back and it lasted about 10 miles before I took if off again because of the noise increase!
The Scorpion is...
I'll keep everyone posted on my findings, things to consider in my case though are my daily drive is a 60 mile round trip, with hardly any stops and certainly no traffic, mostly spent at 50Mph. The car is garaged overnight, although the garage is sometimes colder than outside! I've never had the...
'fashioned' is the word! but it is a bit of a prototype.
After having a bit of a think, I reckon I could come up with some half decent trays, but there would have to be a compromise!
I'm thinking along the lines of using 1.6mm steel sheet, I could weld the seems making it a more durable /...
Phase 1 complete:
I made the custom battery tray to take advantage of 2 existing mounting points, so no modifications to the car were required at all. its foam lined to absorb shocks and made of aluminium, so nice and light.
As for weight differance I'm not really sure, I've heard the...
try e-mailling these people:
sales@yatesandbloomfield.co.uk
They are the only suppliers of the 182 scorpion exhausts, and as such sell the scorpion decat pipe, last time they had some on e-bay they were about £50 delivered. Straight replacement for the standard cat.
I did take a side by side with the standard battery, but I can't seem to find it now on my phone! I'd say its around 1/4 the size though. (its an odyssey PC680)
I've got a 'special' air filter sitting in my garage ready to go in, so I took the standard airbox out to do a full mock-up, with new...
*update*
went back to Northampton Motorsports last Friday. The top man came out for a spin and said he didn't hink it was too bad and he'd be happy driving it, however, he left it up to me wether to put it back on the hunter machine to check measurements and dial in some toe out, so I went for...
Received today, did a quick mock-up and started the car with it just to make sure it works. Need to fabricate a battery tray and sort out some new mounting points, But put back to standard for the moment until I have a bit of time - hopefully this weekend. Oh and when I ordered it, I also...
Just ordered this little beauty, exact same spec as the redtop 25:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Odyssey-PC680-Dry ... 240%3A1318
The seller accepted a best offer of £70 straight away (wished I'd gone in cheaper!) I've got a nice little project lined up and this will fit the bill exactly. Quite excited...
No gasket as standard, but I always use high temp silicone in this joint to help with a seal. Its a very common place for an exhaust leak. The bracket deforms to fit when its done up, so a new one should be fitted every time one is taken off. I usually use the jack on the cat, simply to take its...
Applications listed all depends on who is selling them, I thought that link gave a pretty good overview of the battery, see this link for more applications:

Here's another one to consider, I think they are cheaper than redtop:
http://www.tjmotorsport.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=PC625
edit: about the same price, the advertising makes them sound better though!
Scott, two possibilities here, either the alignment place you took the car to has really badly calibrated equipment, or your car needs some proper setting up.
The figures for the rear, both camber and toe are a fair bit out, the factory settings can be found on here somewhere but rear camber is...
I got mine from a chap called George, who deals in Whiteline stuff: maryparis@tiscali.co.uk, also got a rear swaybar
I think he only takes cheques but my whiteline bolts were only £30, nice bloke to do business with.
They have a pretty good setup George: http://www.northamptonmotorsport.com/default.asp?id=20
I rang them this evening and am going back in next friday for a check over (to make sure a camber bolt hasn't slipped), test drive, and re-toe if needed, f.o.c, so I can't really complain.
Tyres are spot...
