Just curious, My car is going back to Renault tomorrow to fnally get the creaking noise fixed... Only its 4th Trip to dealers! Was under the bonnet this evening and noticed when the ignition is on there is a loud buzzing sound coming from the engine (Somewhere under the inlet manifold) Call...

Well I guess Monday next week will tell.. Mine only does the noise when pulling away so can't see it being the strup top issue...

Car is now booked in for a week Monday... Apparently they think its the Strut tops that need modifying. Hmmmm I'm not convinced this is the problem as doesn't make any noise whilst driving or steering... Any ideas?

Well been back to Renault today and they are now awaiting a call from Technical as they are puzzled as to what could be causing the noise.. Admittedly it is lots better since they replaced part the other week however I am a perfectionist! Iwill updated once they have had magic call!

Nah I hadn't either... But guess what despite this part being replaced the noise is back again today - Not impressed. So its gonna be back to the stinking dealers again for me

Well went back this morning this time the Spanner monkey didnt have his ear plugs in so heard the noise! Its booked in next week to get the part replaced apparently the drop link (Part of the suspension? Told them it wont be getting picked up until its fixed either - Bloody Renault :roll:

Yep really impressive on the juice if drive it normal... Last tank saw 380

regularly get 400 miles on full tank driving normal sped 70mph

Shouldn't the fault show up when plugged into machine at dealers? Never came across an issue where machine has been unable to diagnose a fault
