I have my RenaultSport Clio 182 Trophy for sale due to lack of use and my other hobbies taking up too much time now. I bought the car from another ClioTrophy forum member in April 2012 on 76k miles and it now sits on just over 107k.
The car has been very well looked after in my ownership, parts...
Ive got a full set in the shed as i “upgraded” to the alcantara ones from a regular 182. Too big and awkward to post but I’m not looking for any money for them
I certainly did.
I sourced a mk2 clio bonnet in reasonable condition and the bodyshop flattened out any dents or marks.
They resprayed the bonnet (obviously) and blended it into the wings. didn't touch the front bumper as there isn't enough joining red to need a 100% perfect colour match...
It’d be a 14” wheel but with a much fatter tyre so the total circumference is about equal. I haven’t done lots of searching but it does seem it will have the same pcd and centre bore...
When did that change? I got agreed value last April with Greenlight. The guy on the phone did say my agreed value was realistic, which probably helped.
Cheers for replies guys. There's a 'new' Clio in a scrapyard up the road from me so I'll pop by and check it for dents tomorrow if I can.
Been quoted 700 - 800 for a full front end respray. Makes sense to get rid of the stone chips while I'm at it, I think!
Brand new from Renault I've been quoted 230 + vat. non genuine the guy quoted 36 + VAT. Or used is variable. I'm guessing Renault genuine is the best choice but how much worse would/could the non genuine be?!
So my poor bonnets been damaged and it needs replacing.
What's the best way to go about it? Find a trophy one? Any capsicum red one? With either of these I imagine it will need paint as its unlikely to match. Shall I just get a used bonnet with no dents and get it sprayed? Also considering just...
Pretty fiddly but it has clips on the top and bottom, you can get a little screw driver to pry them off. It means you don't need to disconnect all the wires as it wiggles out just enough.
If you're looking to enjoy it then ignore the mileage and go for one that's been well looked after. Is there anything in the #104 thread on here? Good luck with your search!
