'Clio cup' spec is a standard williams, as the williams had a front track based on the clio cup
The car is standard, even has a paper filter, and cat. Just got to do the track rods, bushes, springs and shocks done and weld the steering column and im ready.
I agree with you mate. It is cost cutting that is 'cleverly' described as weight saving for performance. And people fall for it. How much does an engine bay cover weigh? Hmm that will really help you go faster.
Personally i wouldnt buy a modern Renault because its clear thet Renault are...
I want to know if Brazo is this anal about which toilet paper he buys
(see what i did there Nik? I thought this joke would be right up your alley)
(And again, comedy on so many levels)
I never argued that there are different products for dufferent purposes. What i am saying is that a polish is a polish and a wax is a wax. How you apply them is more important than the 'brand' you use.
Brazo, i bet i can get just as good a finish on a new car by washing it with a sponge and car shampoo then throwing a bucket of water with mur disolved in it, in ten minutes than you can fannying around for a whole day with your two bucket method, micro cloths, expensive wax and secret techniques.
As the article on f7power states, the PE2 will induce torque steer as they are the wrong type of tyre for the Williams. They are a sports tyre, and the williams was set up and designed to run a touring tyre.
Replacing the suspension will help but unless you get the chassis welded up, you will...
Not wanting to turn this into a my cars better then your car thread, but since when has torque steer been normal? Both my Williams' and Jills 172 do not show torque steer tendencies. Personally i think squirming under breaking is a bad thing too. Id expect the back end to go light, but not...
Who ever designed the exterior should be shot. At 22k we are getting into Subabru cost territory. Buying a mini to me says 'has no idea about cars and is having a mid life crisis'
This argument is like the tyres threads and the oil threads. Everyone claims theirs is the best. I found these tyres best, i found this oil best. Its bollox. People even prefere BP ultimate over optimax. It ludicrous. BP ultimate or optimax, they both clean your engine, doesnt matter which you...
Yeah i agree there are good products and bad products. But i KNOW for a fact that some of the cheaper brands (halfords / Wilkinsons) polishes and waxes are made to the same specification as things like autoglym and other expensive brands. I went to the effort of finding out as it amazed me about...
lol
Youve been reading the advertising copy on the back of too many wax bottles nik.
They are all made by the same chemical companies. Some even have the same bottles but different labels.
Heres a question. Is it a coincidence that the companies that advertise the most sell the most...
The job of a polish is to abrade the surface of the paint. Now your telling me that there is a distinction between the way an expensive polish abrades the surface, and how a cheap one does it? If a polish has abraded the surface, its done its job. What else can you do to it that justifies a 5 to...
Polish is polish, wax is wax. Cheap wilkinson stuff is exactly the same as expensive auglym stuff.
Polish is an abrasive, wax is a hydrophobic substance. Chemically there isnt alot you can do with either.
How about me writing to michelin technical department and being told that the spider diagramme for the kleber HP2 is IDENTICAL to the Michelin Pilot HX fitted to the Williams.
So clearly michelin copy design and manufacturing techniches over to kleber (which makes financial sense when you...
That fact is i am right. If you look at the trading stadards enquirey into the alegations by Shell regarding optimax (available online if you could be arsed to look for it), you will see that Shell recieved a number of objections to the claims they made about optimax. All of those objections...
In France Kleber outsell Michelin, because the French understand they are basically the same tyres, and they arnt stupid enough to pay 100 a corner for a clio. :D Have a nice Christmas.
100 a corner for a clio. PMSL.
And talking about the French not being stupid, have you worked out yet...
