    15s

My 15" wheel/tyre combo (speedline 2118 et43 /Toyo R888's - for track use) weigh 2kg more per wheel over std Turinis and PE2's! feels great on track - possibly a bit worse for the brakes (heating) due to less free air space around the calipers with the smaller dia rims. I did it purely for...

    An unfortunate encounter

Definitely - great job on mine, give him a call. He's mobile and did mine near Oxford (he didn't travel all the way here to SW France :))

    Steering Wheel Re-trimmed Undecided ?

Looks great, a quality job; and you still have your buttons for cruise! - I put a Momo on mine and prefer the feel to the oem but can't use the cruise with it (not a huge loss imo compared to the better feel); I've always got the original to put back on if needed - how much for your retrim ??

    Rs192 scorpion exhaust group buy.

I have had one (cat back) on for 2 years, no problems - fits well and sounds better than oem but not too loud.

My Springs are turning within their mounting cups??

Yep, There were 2 bits of paper with mine, the ( not really needed) instructions and a little slip with the lubing info on it. Wondering if a smear of grease over the bearing after oiling it) might keep the water etc out?? Belt and braces ....

My Springs are turning within their mounting cups??

You can do it from the top, in the engine bay, there's a spherical bearing in the top mount - no need to dismantle (I got an "instruction" with my ktek mounts that clearly stated that these need lubing regularly). I don't use grease but a light oil like 3 in 1.

Need 4 New Tyres - Decisions Decisions!!

Not even half worn (maybe 3500 miles wear), but the track was freezing and V wet (hence me not swapping rims to the ones with the 888's) - plus I was driving in rather too spiritied a fashion as the track was fairly empty and I was feeling lucky - my fault! Not sourced any Pagids yet, getting...

Yes, good question - I thought the few that donated a bit to fund the change were going to get a "member" status too..... hmmmm

Need 4 New Tyres - Decisions Decisions!!

Hah - my PE2's let me down badly yesterday; it was cold, and wet, but I managed a 720 spin on track ;) - normall keep the PE's just for the road and normally change my wheels for trackdays but my worn 888's might not have been any better! I'd happily try something else(for the road) come the...

    Insurance declarations

I put a 5.7 litre V8 in mine, not going to mention it to the insurance as it's only 175 bhp.

    Just be grateful ...

A mate of mine here (a garage owner) just asked me to see if I could find him a cheaper price in blighty for a 2009 Honda Civic diesel particle filter........5000 (yes three zeros) euros!!! The best I could find was 4100 quid  Never was an oil burner fan but this convinces me it's never...

    Ouch!

You have to wonder how ALL of them were involved, OK one caught out in a spin who collects a couple of his (now ex) mates; but all of them...... what a shame (but what a bunch.....)

Badgerman and #333's winter update ( WITH PICS )

Always feels good to do a bit of updating, nothing better to bring a smile on your face when the season is wet and miserable! A comment on the STM's; I have exactly the same on 304 - they are excellent - Initially I thought they were a bit rattly but when experimenting with the front pads I...

    Claude's Gripes - December 2011

Let's throw logic away for a minute; what does this really mean: You MUST use headlights at night, except on a road which has lit street lighting. These roads are generally restricted to a speed limit of 30 mph (48 km/h) unless otherwise specified You should also use dipped headlights, or...

The Trendlines look good and are OK but on the track they offer no real support; surprised the std 182's seats are any better!!
