Need some help valuing my Trophy

To be fair it's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. Personally I'd be inclined to agree with Marc's valuation. That said, there's no harm in advertising in line with Mikey's suggestion, and if there's no interest then come down a step. No major loss if it doesn't sell at £4.5k.

Could re-ignite the forum if it is. With forced induction pap ;) Or it could be a Megane, Twingo or even a Twizy Trophy ;)

    Stolen Clio Trophy LV55 EJJ

Stick to your guns, Keith. You may not get what you want, but I think you can get much closer than their paltry offer of £3.7k.

Do Akrapovic make a 182 offering? If not then I'd commission one.

    Exhausts

I've never seen or heard a BTB, but I'd like to. For me it all depends on the application. I have a ProSpeed, which is superb in terms of quality & fit, and I seem to recall it was very civilised too. But things have changed... When I had the RS2 manifold I was advised that a decat would...

    Re: Trophy Red Paintwork

Thanks. In that case maybe get it professionally detailed to give you a really good starting point from which it should be relatively simple to keep on top of ongoing maintenance & protection.

    Re: Trophy Red Paintwork

If you're going to do a proper job you need to de-tar the car (Tardis), remove metal deposits (Iron X) and use some clay & lubricant to remove any further fallout etc. I'm not very experienced but I believe that if you don't do all three then you're not doing a job as well as it could be done...

    Re: Trophy Red Paintwork

You could try decontaminating the paintwork (Autosmart Tardis and CarPro IronX are two products you could use). Then apply polish (Autoglym Super Resin Polish) then wax (Autoglym High Definition Wax) and it will come up looking completely different. For plastics etc I use CarPro DLUX, which I...

    Trophy #083 for sale

Shame to see it going, Rob, very best of luck with the sale. I'm seriously keen to get hold of some anthracite 2118s so if for any reason a buyer doesn't want them I'll happily take them off your hands :)

    Stolen Clio Trophy LV55 EJJ

In which case the £6k is probably meaningless and if it was written-off they'd refer to Glass's guide for the valuation of a 182 as per the various threads doing the rounds. Good luck Keith, if there's anything we can do to help... All advertise our Trophys for £8-10k? ;)
