Iv found mine seem to loose brake fluid from the cap, there is a seal for the level sender and its not a very good one. Its best to check it and takes 5 seconds. At least you can rule that one out then.
As stated by BenG check cv boot clips first, sounds like a clip has broken causing lights to come on, if its been like that for a while i have known joints to go dry and cause a knocking noise, if it was me clean the joint as best as possible then chuck some cv boot grease in the boot then put a...
Yer thats what i thought as i had only workshop manuals for the F4R 730 (172) engine and lately i have now got a list of torque settings for the F4R 738 (182) and the wheel bolt settings have changed to 105 nm, i only got this torque setting as i was having issues with one of the wheels coming...
Cheers for that i have checked out the guy from cs so will be grabbing a set from there.
As for removing paint i would just fit, remove then refit and torque, then drive the vehicle for a few days and check torque settings and recheck in a weeks time. Torque settings for 182 road wheel bolts...
I find the same with most wheel refurbishment places they all paint the center hub facings, if you pop a bit of copper slip in the hub center its self them pop the wheel on and off a few times will fix that issue of sticking.
Where did you get the stickers from if you don't mind me asking.
They have a lacquer finish applied to them already, the hardest bit out of all of this was i tried to do this in a week, i drove to BG on the Monday 16th to get them stripped. I then back the same day to drop them off to my friend, who then shot blasted areas of corrosion and sanded the painted...
As promised i have a few photos of before and after of the dampers once shot blasted and sprayed.
If anyone else is thinking of doing this then from my own experiences i would suggest you look into building up the lost material once the rust and corrosion has been removed, the guy who done mine...
Hello people sorry iv not been on to update on the dampers, i got them back today and fitted tonight then doing wheel alignment tomorrow at work.
I have taken photos as asked and will pop a post up once my camera battery has re-charged, the one thing i would say is i got them done in a bit of...
Hi people i have a set of Trophy springs i now seem to be gathering them There front and rears, there not in best condition and could do with a sand down and paint well fronts could rears however are ok, they have done 68k just in case anyone wants to know.
There going free to whoever wants...
Hi to who ever that was in the Trophy behind me who beeped. I had spent Sunday-Monday at Silverstone and not even seen another Clio Sport let alone a T then all of a sudden i see you in my rear view mirror and another 182 inferno as im coming off the slip road just as im about to head back home...
Very nice i agree though tail pipes need a clean, i don't see whats wrong with the 2.0 16v badges there not bad, im currently in the process of spraying a spare set i have in anthracite to match wheels then painting the numbers in a capsicum red, if i could get a spot on colour match for the red...
I was going to post up on cs when i saw this yesterday, your eibach rear springs seem to have dropped the hight a bit more i think since you last posted up pictures, looks much nicer now.
Need to clean the engine bay i can see dirt on the top mounts lol.
Would be good to see the half cage in...
Just to update its not just north that has issues with v power, i have been having running issues lately using v power from local garage in Broadbridge Heath, West Sussex. I know my stuff and its been really strange running issue is on start up and cold only. I have put it down to the fuel and...

This will do it, you only need to crush the clip to pull it tight so don't go too mad as you can break the clip. Halfords will no doubt sell this tool too but usually for more money, ideally pop to your local motor factors they will have a...
CV boot clips are common just fill it with more grease and stick another clip on, iv now done all of mine they just fall apart not a very good design. I would advise to get the other side cv boot clip done at the same time i found on mine i done one then a few weeks later the other side went...
Just a thought who did the 4 wheel alignment and have they adjusted or tried to adjust the camber, sounds to me as thought they didn't torque the nut and bolt up hence why after the shakedown on your track day you noticed it, its worth checking the other side while your at it just in case. Have...
Just wanted to add is it just me or did you mention upstream lambda sensor fault? only that's before the cat so will deal with engine running, these seem to be a common problem and its best to replace with a Bosch lambda there exactly the same as Renault ones and are about half the price.
Are you being serious? Im guessing this wasn't a renault dealership.
He could well have been right if it was an import from Mexico but very much doubt that.
Well sounds as though you had some rather nice cars, the GT4 was one i was going to mention however some i have seen lately look shocking after they have been body kitted.
I have to admit the DC2 has no where near as much grip as the T, as for the 205 GTi my friend has one and having driven...
Very nice cars you have there, in my preference i have to say my favorite is the Lancia Delta Integrali Evo, my friend is rebuilding a HF Turbo but its in a bit of a poor state so will be a rather big project, my second would be the Trophy, then the FTO and last but not least your new Civic...
I would test the battery first before just investing in one as may not cure the issue. If your not technically minded i would get the vehicle to a garage for diagnosis & rectification could be a faulty starter motor or an earth fault.
Oh was going to mention hoolio you was rite in one aspect with the ast top mounts, there is 2 types, check out kam racing

Yer i did see the group buy on the whiteline anti-roll bar but the one thing i don't like like about that is the drop links use a bush and i think i saw a picture a while back with the lower bush looking like its starting to split, i believe it was on sir-dave's T but i may be wrong hence why i...
Part is without the top nut & built in bush this is the only extra part you get with the renault unit's.
Kit consist of 2 top mount bearings & 2 top mount rubber bushes and is made by SKF.
Part Number:
VKDA 35607 T
Or Euro Car Parts Number...
Hi all now i know this has been covered many times before however i have a query that as far as i can see no one has asked.
Now im getting the front dampers refurbished middle of May, im currently running standard springs but im looking into the rears.
Im unhappy with how the Trophy likes to...
You may well be correct all i know is the top mount for a clio trophy is the same as the ones from the v6, i had to get some top mounts sorted a few weeks back, managed to get a pair from euro car parts for £55, compared to renault asking for i think it was £40 for just the one i couldn't...
Well as far as i know top mounts as standard are clio v6 mounts, they share the same part number, so if the ast's fit a clio v6 then they will fit the sachs.
The only camber adjustable top mounts i know of are AST however they also adjust the caster too, so ideally only option for camber alone is via bolts, the top strut bolts are easy to access and iv fitted eibach ones to mine, people state that they aren't strong enough however this is now the...
