TDC sensor is another one to go iirc. Car will turn over, but not catch.

If you spend the same money as the Trophy you'll have an R53, which is far more expensive to run. If you stick 5 grand on top of the Trophy, you'll have an R56. Which you've just spent 5 grand to buy. Sense. Your post makes none.

I actually disagree tbh, & most of my friends have only now upgraded to aftermarket pads - we all do 5/6 track days a year. Most of the issue with standard pads is related to overheating, remove the arch liners & fog lights and you'll find they are considerably better than you think! Good...

Its its your 1st track day, id strongly advise against spending much money on the car - you might not like it lol ... Put some Dot 4 fluid in, & remove the front fogs/arch liners to keep the brakes cool. Then just go & have some fun. If you're the last of the late brakers, some DS2500's might...

You dont. And i never do. Unless on a track day, for mostly placebo reasons. Its a clio, not a sodding 600bhp Evo. I did 90 miles a day in mine for ages, did 35mpg & generally cost naff all to run. Only bought a 320d Sport as i wanted to make the Trophy a little more track focussed.

lol, that'll be all the dust sticking to PAS fluid on the bonnet. Looked clean(ish) before it sat in their yard for a few days. Honest :oops:

I got that going up to Bedford Autodrome last friday, well 41.4 to be exact. Managed to use even less fuel on the way back though! AA tow FTW ;)
