Cheers.
Best thing about H&S is there only 20mins down the road, only issue i have is it cant be too noisy mainly because of the parents and the neighbours, but also i hate driving a car and all you can hear is the blasted exhaust popping and farting everytime you lift off the gas.
I am looking to change the Exhaust on the Trophy by the end of the year.
what are the H&S one like and how much for a Decat system. Not to fussed about a Manifold at the moment just want to allow the car to run a little better.
I know Magnex do one which i can get through work but not...
PMSL. Main thing is you are alright at the end of the day its only a car, can always replace it with another.
Like pretty sweet, well from the front and side, not sure about the Lexus lights but each to their own.
Theres a guy who lives near me who owns a genuine GT40 road car and also a very rare Shelby 1965 GT. Funniest thing is his daily drive is a clapped out old Pug 205 Diesel.
Must spend all of his free cash just filling these cars up with petrol and making sure they run correctly.
Never seen...
Signed the paperwork for the car today got the Number plate and Chassis Code.
Pick it up on FRIDAY :D :D :D
Looks shit at the moment as it has been sat in the holding pen for the past month but they promise me it will be fine when I collect.
Lookers have another two in the holding...
I emailed Just matz regarding getting the Trophy logo on the mats they said that if i could send a hi res image they could sort it out.
They do the full 1 pce rear and boot mat as well which look nice.
If the King is still slagging HIS car i believe we all can (Long live the KING)
LOL, thing is the top one must of had the stage 2 done to it cause it looks so quick
its not just rallying that the shocks are used they have been used in the VW Polo cup race seris and the Beetle series where the competitors have to use identical cars which tend to be stripped out road version with specific mods (beefing up components)
The sachs dampers have been...
was thinking about fixing them eaither side on the wheel arches that way they are out of the way and all i need to remove then is the sub, still not sure?????
no because they have had to compromise for the road, there is no way you could have 3 deg of neg camber for normal road driving the steering would be way to skitish.
at the end of the day all car manufactures have to compromise in some way or another
there is only 50 been made for the Swiss market, they have all been produced.
There is no way they are able to do a Trophy 2 as the Dipee factory has shut down all production for this version of the Clio which includes the Clio V6. They will once returning from the shut down be recomensing...
its not the point, the point is Renault knew that this car would be a hit for track days, thats the reason they took the suspension settings from the Clio rally car in Tarmac guise, and adapted it for the Trophy.
The Clio sport range has been most popular in the UK more than any other country...
both the 182 and the trophy stopped production at pretty much the same time. The engines used in the trophy are exactly the same as those in the 182. The core difference between the two cars is the suspension.
the only 182 left are those which have been made and are sat at the import suit...
if the point of the question is then to say why did Renault spend so much money on the suspension set up, the answer is because the car was desingned to be used on the track and the set up allowed for a much better control and progrssive feed back.
Damper fade will tend to only happen after a...
I have just taken out my full install from the Old Clio. I love my music (Not base just clarity) but am unsure of the best ways to install it in the car.
I have 2 amps, powercap, 10" sub and 2 sets of comp speakers which i am going to fit into the orginal door pods, Mini Disc changer (YES I...
LOL but could you recalulate this equation to take into account the NUTTER in a Trophy factor.
Oh and what would the caclution be for those pesky ST150 Fiesta's which belive that just because they have spent another £350 on the GT Strips there car will be as quick if not quicker than...
I have already got a headunit and speakers, plus a sub but unsure if i want to fit them in the car as i have already had a full fitted install in my last clio and it was a pain in the arse, nowhere to put anything in the boot and all the cables.
