I knew there would be either a car dealer or estate agent on the site!
I agree that not all are bad - I have met a decent car dealer (only once mind!')
Wink) - I guess they are just professions where industry reputation precedes any opinion. Recruitment consultants would fall...
Blimey, that's a decent quote! I'm paying £686 at 25 with 6yrs no claim through Privilege (that does include protected no claims although I wouldn't choose to do that again - would have been £600 without.)
Congratulations - do you know what number it is yet?
Post your number in the members section when you find out and Nik will give you your Trophy owner star!
Welcome to the site.
Nik, when you use the site search option the words you search for are highlighted in grey but this is hard to see against the background - may be worth changing to a darker colour?
Wideboy salesman I reckon.... it's not hard to distinguish a Trophy. After all it is written down the side!
Did you notice there was also 6 genuine Trophys listed, I can't understand why so many people would change their car so quickly (or be able to afford it!)
Seems like the milage i'm getting is towards the lower end of the range, but then it is driven enthusiastically most of the time....
Glad to see its around everyone elses figures though - I'll reset the trip computer now i'm at 6k (probably hasn't been for 3-4k miles) and see if it's...
Just had a check of my trip computer too see what mpg i've been getting (I wouldn't normally bother checking, as long as its not single figures I don't really mind but if the facility is there then why not use it!)
Was a bit surprised to see I was getting 28mpg. I know its a big engine for...
Personally I wouldn't reintroduce them Nik. They make forums look like they are populated solely by teenagers, and really clutter up the layout - I much prefer getting straight to the information I want.
2005 Clio 182 Trophy (Standard)
1989 Peugeot 205GTI Track Project
2001 HPI Nitro RS4...
Apparently the splitters weren't fitted at the factory but at the dealership, so it should have been inside the car when delivered to the dealer and fitted before you received the car.
Welcome to the site mate, put a post in the owners section to get your Trophy owner star!
Mine also makes the noise (kind of a "scrubbing" noise?) on lock.
The fix sounds pretty drastic! Has anyone had this work done on here? Are there any photographs or the modifications available?
It's not a shame - I'd given up posting anything meaningful on topics which had been Strombafied. George K deserves a medal because he had far more patience than me to post about his knowledge on damper and tyre threads (we have similar working backgrounds) He could've been a good member of the...
I can be spotted around the Shirley/Solihull area every now and then - I originally come from round that way, and also bought my car through Renault Bham
Yeah it was getting a bit silly. First the barrier broke causing massive queues until the ranger guy turned up, then it gets full and they start turning people away! The other trophy was parked outside the car park in the layby on the far side of the road. First spotted it while I was in the pub...
Nah, that one's mine! I noticed the other one as I as leaving the car park - I don't think he made it in before the car park got full!
And the worst thing is I got the car washed and waxed about 1 hour before I parked up - it's filthy again already....
Roadkill fan penning recipe book
Here you go Portland:
A man from north Cornwall who regularly eats animals killed on the roads is set to share his unusual taste with others.
Arthur Boyt, who is 66 and from Davidstow, is writing a recipe book about his gastronomic enthusiasm for...
Trophy 1 - 0 Rabbit
Damn wildlife just has no consideration for others does it?
I managed confirm that a Trophy is also a finely honed rabbit killing implement within the first week of ownership...
Don't know how much the grille costs - hope thats all the damage and you get it...
To be honest I'd rather have a standard one and run the risk. The damage some scrote could do trying to remove an anti-theft aerial wouldn't be worth the inconvenience!
Hmm, it does look familiar.....
I just can't get over the pointlessness of nicking something that can be bought off ebay for a fiver! Then again I'd imagine whoever nicked it wasn't exactly the brain of britain...
