Hmmm probably not the best place to ask this question.
I've yet to drive a 197 but i seriously hope i like it as i really do hope to get a white 197 cup next.
So my half an hour check, is it going to be a quick look to see if it needs replacing or not?
If it does need replacing what are the chances of them giving me a new catch to fit myself? I'm guessing not as it's a recall?
As i've only had it for about 8 months i don't know if mines been done or not, i'm assuming renault will be able to tell me if i go in there?
I have noticed recently that it has been sticking a little so i must get it checked, if it has been done i might even stick a new one in there myself just...
Clay, polish, wax, then a wheel seal and then 6 months of just hosing the wheels off.
As i've said before if you put the effort in to start with it really is very easy to keep a car looking like new.
I've had my car for about 8 months now, when i got the car i spent about two days cleaning it, had the bumpers, lights, wheels off and all sorts, i basically washed, washed, clayed, washed, polished, polished then gave it two coats of a decent carnauba wax, after this i just wash the car weekly...
As title says really.
These have never been opened, RRP on these is £52 if i remember correctly.
The keen eyed amongst you may spot the label on the hoses say 172 sport, i have been assured these are the same hoses over the whole rs clio 172/182 range. These have the zinc plated connections...
I've got pagids rs2-4 pad on my trophy, i get a squeal as you describe from time to time, i've just put it down to a characteristic of the pad as i've tried everything to get around it.
I've seen this car about quite a few times (well a trophy with a roof rack in the area the car is for sale so i'm assuming it's the same car) and it's always looked real clean.
I haven't ever seen anything on the roofrack so often wondered why it's on there all the time!!!
Don't put the poor guy off!!!
All those comments are true though, but........ a well looked after one should be easy to spot as the cars are only just over three years old a good one should still be like new.
Do you mean to go on the body work to protect the body work? if so these are the people you want to get in contact with, a friend of mine had his Integrale done after it was repainted and it was a top job and works very well.

A few people have had the shocks rebuilt at BG Motorsport if i remember correctly, a quick search and you should be able to find the thread with details of what they do and their contact info.
I completely agree but i do understand why Top Gear has had to go the way it has. It's simply better TV for sunday night viewing, if it was all cars cars cars and reviewing decent stuff (what we want to see more of) they'd probably lose 50% of viewers which obviously is bad for the BBC so they...
Well that was a bit of a disappointment wasn't it!!
Hopefully Top Gear will do something a little more interesting on the megane in the new series.
The caterham looked a bit of a hand full i know that much!!
The Megane R26r is going to be on Fifth gear tonight (channel 5 at 8pm)
Definitely worth watching as i'm sure some of us trophy owners may well move onto a R26r, well thats what i see myself owning next at the moment!!

Welcome to trophy ownership, make sure you add to the tropghy owners register on the forum for your third star.
Nice to see another clean standard example.......
The repairs would put me of, i know chances are they're as strong as new but i could never 100% trust a repaired tyre.
Due to this i'd probably think about £20/30 each
This is completely my own pinion though, very hard things to price really.
Hi K
This probably isn't the best place for the advice you need as we're pretty much all trophy owners over here (who like our turunis), have you tried http://www.cliosport.net?
Good luck with the clio..........

Yep i was only looking at standard trophy's when i got 322. As Rudi said the itg isn't going to affect the overall price of the car, i'd keep it and possibly use it for bartering.
I'm glad to hear your changing the dash inserts, i've seen a few trophy's with this and i think it looks ghastly, can't believe some think it looks good!!
Hope it all goes well tomorrow Tractor, sounds like it's a good example, even if it did cause suspicion to start of with.
Do you get up brands hatch much then? If so you'll certainly see my trophy there throughout the year, bit of a regular, although i'm yet to take the trophy on track.
as your...
Well done Tractor, i'm sure you won't regret it.
I'll keep an eye out, not all that many in sussex/kent according to the location map.
I've never owned a EP3 CTR but have always liked my hondas, have experience with integras, ek9 CTR's and a few pre v-tec hot hatches from them.
The clio in my...
Out of interest what type r have you bought?
I've come from hondas so can't really help compare it to a 106, surprised i've never owned a 106 though considering how many times i've looked at them!!
Loving the photos, especially the first one, really hoped to get to wales myself over xmas but never made it, shame because the weather has been quite reasonable that way just recently!
I do like the plate on the trophy, subtle.
