Ever so slightly jealous of all this as it is an itch I am unlikely scratch. 172 cup AND hillclimbin, that sounds a lot of fun.
Interesting (though unsurprising) that you are fitting Sachs. I wasn’t sure you would be able to swap out to different suspension. What geometry are you going to go...
It’s a shame GeorgeK is not still on the site, he used to hillclimb his trophy in “out of the box” class but was constantly looking at ways to tweak the undercarriage etc. In the end he swapped it out for a Honda something as it was just not competitive enough in class. Still racing though, I...
As breaking seems to be pre loading and cancelling the knock I would go for anti roll bar bushes but could be any of the above. Probably not something you can wiggle to occur maybe?
As I mentioned in a previous post(?) as a last resort, the Powerflex covers will fit over the original bump stop.
Below, the Powerflex cover with original bump stop is fitted to the damper, original gaitor is to the right.
I hope I’m not stating the obvious (I guess I am) that that looks pretty bad and unexpected to be honest. A good reminder to the rest of us to check our (made of cheese) jacking points.
Yes please if still available. I was convinced I had bought both upper and lower parts years ago. Anyway I only have the uppers and the above will at least allow me a spare when it begins to get brittle and crack. Yup, they do that!
I’m a little late to the party on this. I may be interested but I can‘t remember what I have. I can check this afternoon after work. Don’t feel you need to wait though.
Is not the Megs stuff for internal trim?
Colour wise, I would say off black. Gtechniq C4 is my weapon of choice here.
Does anyone know how to safely remove the sticker inserts? Mine are now fairly bleached and crispy 😕
That does look wrong, I always thought that the tips extended beyond the bumper and found this, pretty sure this is a scorpion.

I still have the original two can kit under the passenger seat but I doubt very much if they are still viable and not sure I would ever actually use, I have always carried a spare wheel since I sliced open the side wall going around a corner a little too close.
Now on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/177277001809?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11021.m164380.l178263&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=e6da7a902e50438aaf4e0fd42310bc2e&bu=43550124036&ut=RU&exe=0&ext=0&osub=-1%7E1&crd=20250720033217&segname=11021&recoId=177277001809&recoPos=1
Will not be there for long I’m sure.
I use mostly Auto Finesse stuff, because I have for years. I use this and the pad version for washing.

I also have the earlier versions of this and they are crazy thick...
Three exhaust on the Porsche? I’m going to plead ignorance and the fact I have covid so my brain is only functioning on one brain cell but………………
Looks a lovely evening though.
Hey folks, yes I am still here. I’ve been ill for a while now and in and out of hospital. But, think I’ve turned a corner now so all good.
So Stefán, though all my plans for the year have completely gone out of the window the Orb is absolutely staying 😁
Definitely not a sticker. Some kind of transfer applied on top of the lacquer that literally fades with time and washing, you can just about see them on my original set. Best bet would be Speedline but there is no chance they would supply as there is a chance they would end up on a non Speedline...
I believe that the sill protector is just glued on and in the absence of a replacement careful removal has to be an option?
I’m sure I read a post on here somewhere of someone who had those door shut stickers copied/replaced.
The cars originally came with a little kit with a couple of cars of the fluid, I still have mine under the front seat though I suspect the cans are now likely to make an even bigger mess than they did even when new.
I bought a spare original Speedline Corse and wheel very early on and put it in...
Lovely idea, but contrary to almost everything Renault have done over the last few years. They are also very late to the party in terms of recognising their own legacy and the impact that may have, other manufacturers have been doing it for years.
Also, what garage/service centre are going to...
