Ok, I have some more info on these dampers, but you're not going to like it....Monster-Sport have come back to me and the orignial price they quoted did not include VAT. So after VAT we're looking at £761.57 each but they are willing to give a 5% discount on orders of 5 or more pairs. Still...

Yep, that's pretty knackered. First time my damper went, the reservoir was even more loose than that. This time round the reservoir didn't move, still has the 5mm gap, but the piston moves under it's own weight and you can hear the oil (whats left in it) sloshing around when you move the piston.

There are coilovers kits in the form of Spax RSX £799 and V-Maxx £420 and of course standard 182 cup dampers. I think if I don't hear any more from Renault about these new Sachs, I'm getting a refund and may consider the H&R kit or 182 Cup dampers. Anyone know who sells the H&R kit?

I recently bought an Exide 063TE battery from battery2u.co.uk. It's a lead-calcium battery with 4 yr warranty. I read something that the silver batteries are more difficult to maintain the charge and require a higher charge rate and also more susceptible to damage if allowed to drain.
