I believe there's a 172 Cup with 13,500 miles on it in a collection that my good friend looks after... however, that will likely never be sold and I don't think it's even been driven in the last 5 years (other than turning the engine over and keeping it fresh and maintained).

For fast road I went for the common Ferodo DS2500 pads with plain Brembo HC discs. As long as you remember that they need a bit of heat in them to work optimally then they are a good combo in my opinion. I'll say again though...

Personally I'm inclined to believe what the RenaultSport technicians in Dieppe said when asked about it on the factory tour :) Even so, I'd be interested in seeing some hard evidence so somebody break out the micrometer!
^ Yep - the 172 Cup had thinner glass on the side windows to save a little extra weight :)
The Trophy and 172 Cup also had different windscreens as they did not have the solar reflective coating found on regular 182's.
