    Trophy exhaust options

If you get a catback system (literally from the cat 'onwards) then you keep your existing cat and replace everything after it. If you go for a full sports cat system then that will include a sports cat, which will likely be 200 cell. Obviously the full system will cost you a fair chunk more. I...

    Trophy exhaust options

Hi mate, It sounds like you need a new exhaust if you are having to contemplate giving it a shave due to the hairs... which I expect are either due to corrosion internally and material in the backbox / muffler being expelled. I don't think it will be the catalytic converter but might be worth...

    Get voting

I think the published version is based on their opinions and the votes we are doing go towards a readers' choice.

    Brand New Sachs. (Group Buy)

If those are original items then that is stupidly cheap. Last time I enquired (admittedly it was about 12 months ago) Renault still wanted in excess of 3 grand for a new front pair. And that was if they could source them (which was proving difficult at the time).

    Trophy 294#

Agreed, @Ashtons99 - there are a lot of dreamers but Ad isn't / wasn't in this case. As he's local to me we'd already been discussing meets, mods, best things to look out for on the Trophy, etc. It's unfortunate as I was, selfishly, looking forward to seeing another Trophy in the local area!

WANTED - 182 Trophy (mid March)

This could fit the bill nicely I reckon...

    Trophy 294#

Nope - that's a little unfair mate. Not everyone is a dreamer :) He's genuinely had a change in circumstances and can't proceed. He does have some Clio Trophy club stickers for sale as they turned up today.

    Trophy exhaust options

It sounds like you're likely staying with Scorpion but I will add that I had an exhaust from ProSpeed in Cardiff and it was faultless. I only sold it on due to needing something a little bigger for my latest modifications. It was in fantastic condition, despite being the best part of a decade...

    Trophy 294#

Nice one Al, I look forward to seeing another Trophy in the local area. It's going to be a slow 2 or 3 weeks... hahahaha! :)

    Alpine

Reviewers are raving about it, Chris. They reckon it's better than the Porsche Cayman in pretty much every respect and it sounds superb too. I'd love to take one for a spin.

I believe the new owner lives just down the road from me... :) He's got himself a nice Trophy.

New Trophy articles in Autocar and Car

Yes mate - although it's not sold widespread. You generally need to find a WHSmiths or subscribe to the magazine. I'm not sure if it is particularly well-stocked in other outlets (if at all).

WANTED: Clio 182 Trophy (sub 75k miles)

It was the only place to take it. Sadly @Rik Perry and Cornering Force weren't around back then. It was either BG Motorsport or buy new dampers.

WANTED: Clio 182 Trophy (sub 75k miles)

The first time my Sachs were refurbed it was found that my rods were both scored badly, hence new replacements were needed. By the time the damaged parts had been replaced and the refurb complete, I was £1100 lighter. Add £700 to that for a cambelt service and it's not far off £2k really. I...

Looking to buy my first trophy

Hi mate - welcome to the forum. If you can stretch the budget a little then @Steve@R-Sport cars is selling a rather tidy example... http://cliotrophy.co.uk/threads/trophy-294.54235/

Clio trophy in modern classics mag

With all due respect, Andy's a bit of a weird fella. There's no doubt he's a fan of the Trophy but it's laughable when he tries to make out that he actually owns one! Deluded! :P

    Renparts breaking 51k Trophy

...which makes it difficult to determine it's number! It was a bit of a strange move to release a limited edition variant and not tie, for example, the VIN to the production number.

    Renparts breaking 51k Trophy

No - I don't think it is, Tim. My understanding is that the only way is by checking the sticker on the Recaro seat base (which isn't ideal!)
