Make sure you get the connector that goes to the TDC sensor as well,its often a connection problem rather than a component failure. By removing it and making and breaking the connection you may have inadvertently found the cause.

Re Dust Covers : so the sachs shafts are thicker than the cup shafts ? If this is so then in theory could the cup dust covers be modified to fit on the sachs shafts ? The reason i ask is my dust covers are pretty sh***d and renault want stupid money for trophy/sachs covers even if they could...

Hi All, Just a couple of quick questions on wheels; 1. what is the ET of the standard speedline wheel ? 2. if i use 182 cup wheels as a set of track wheels which have a ET of 45 would they make the track narrower ? if so i guess i can use a spacer and longer wheel bolts ? Thanks in advance

Get the geometry checked as said this should really have been done once the car was lowered, Also have a play with the rear shocks and find a setting YOU like,tyre pressures can play a part in all this which often get over looked. What tyres has it got ? mich or budgets ? But enjoy the 'T'...

Hi Cazzy, The seat runners in the trophy are the same as any other clio sport,try your local dealer. Failing that thier are plenty of renault breakers online or ebay for this stuff.

Hoolio i am 99% sure your right on this one,Cup rear springs and Trophy are the same.

There was a Renault mod on the wiring plug to this sensor for inaccurate reading i think. But as said get a genuine one and ask while your there about the mod.
