Another day, another update to TrophyTracker. There have been a few tweaks on the 'Find' page and I have also introduced a new Timeline feature. I'm not sure how useful that will be (it's work-in-progress) as it is only really as good as the data in the database. It will also take ages to build...
Yeah - I hear you mate. It does make sense as the LSD just works so well on these cars. I'm just fed up of the whole saga though really. I'd rather sell it and put the money towards my GT4 upkeep, or even towards the costs of actually putting my Trophy back to standard. Or I might even put the...
When the build fell through I was going to sell the Trophy and somebody wanted the gearbox and diff. I bought another standard gearbox and put that in the Trophy so the buyer could have my newly rebuilt and newly LSD'd gearbox. He backed out. I just cannot be bothered to swap them around again...
A long story mate! It was due to go in my latest build but after being screwed over by a specialist (again) the build ended and it is just sat waiting to be sold. Along with about 15 grands worth of other high-end components. :(
Hi fellow Trophy Owners and enthusiasts,
I've just updated the TrophyTracker website. Due to cars changing hands, new cars appearing on the register, new owners, etc. the data contained on that site may be stale (out of date). If you would like to contribute updated information then please feel...
A Quaife LSD in the Trophy is awesome! Highly recommended. I have a refurbished gearbox complete with Quaife LSD (never used)... :ROFLMAO:
EDIT: The Quaife has never been used, the gearbox obvs is refurbed!
I was under the impression that Jethro sold the Trophy on, and that it is now being sold again by whoever bought it from him...
(No proof of this, though - just a vague memory that may not be true at all! Useful, I know...) :ROFLMAO:
Welcome aboard and congratulations, Keith. (y)
368 is a superb car that certainly knows its way around the Welsh roads. I have spent many happy hundreds of miles in it with its previous owner (before Ash) as passenger/navigator on various Welsh Weekenders! It was an immaculate and strong car...
I'd buy this in a heartbeat had I not just bought the Abarth and the costs involved with sorting out the f**k-up that is my own Trophy. I was close to buying it from Alan and I'd love to buy it from Ash. Bad timing but good luck with the sale. It's a beauty of a Trophy and one I actually know...
I thought it was a fair price. As much as I love the Trophy and would love to see prices climb and climb (even though I've no intention of selling) I'm also aware it's a 15 year-old Clio with a few tweaks to set it apart from the 'regular' RS version. I know they are special, limited edition...
I know the owner and he is an absolute gentleman and true petrol head. His car collection is incredible. James (JayEmm) is due back down to shoot more of the collection in the future... (y)
:) You'd be more than welcome and I can guarantee a warm reception! Thankfully the Weekender seems to attract decent folks who are genuine enthusiasts and who are more interested in enjoying their cars rather than what someone paid for theirs. Admittedly this year's Weekender is somewhat up in...
Cheers Frayz, I really appreciate the gesture but I have to be realistic. If I bought the system the first thing I would have to do is get it modified as I want it back to fully running a cat. Before you know it I'm a grand plus in and I'm struggling to justify that given the grief I've been...
An exhaust system is one of the last things I need on mine before she comes home. Had the damn thing not already cost me half the price of my GT4 I would have bitten your hand off. Alas, I can't justify spending so much on the exhaust now given the fact the car owes me so much and I haven't even...
