Cam belt yes. Aux belt, I still believe is 36k / 3 years. It was originally higher but was revised down. That’s my understanding.

‘belts’ not ‘belt’ was my interpretation, plus a specialist like Rentech is unlikely to do cam belt without aux belt I would have thought. Not sure how relevant it is, if it was me I’d get it done ASAP whether it was done in Jan 16 or not.

Bosch S4 from Halfords for me too, it does a job, probably the same as all others.

On re-reading it looks like it probably was done in Jan ‘16. No reason to walk away, just a consideration that it needs doing soonish.

I agree, although I didn’t see any mention of the aux belt being changed. Worthy of a check as they’re every 36k / 3 years I think. Assuming it was done in Jan 2016 when the cam belt was changed then it’ll need doing soon.

182 Cups only came in 2 (?) colours - Inferno and Racing Blue, not Black Gold, so that means it’s a regular 182.

They will ‘work’ but not as well as a combination of springs/dampers that have been designed to work as a pair. Will you notice the difference? I’d say it’s unlikely.

To avoid any doubt, all pairs have been sold and allocated, including a mismatched pair (in colour alone). In addition, BenG received a single damper and was in discussions with the supplier to agree a way forward. I'm sure Ben will post or PM if there is a way to resolve the situation.
