Hi Nik, not sure how 'new' this issue is but it's new to me ;) The owners register when viewed via Tapatalk is no longer in number order but is instead sorted by the most recent post. No major problem on its own but when you can't search for a three digit number it's a bit of a challenge...

Your next closest specialist might be Mick Pittman at Diamond Motors in Long Eaton near Nottingham. I can't think of anyone else closer, but Birchdown are a good shout.

I think I read somewhere that the beeps indicate that the alarm may have been triggered. Number of beeps suggests door/bonnet/boot??

Try Renault Parts Direct for the springs, they'll give you a competitive price although that doesn't mean it'll be reasonable ;) It'll help if you can quote part numbers to them. MarcR will be able to assist with that unless someone else can first.

I was going try Pagid RS4-2 (blue) pads after the Ferrodo DS2500s (which were great but when cold they were dire and borderline dangerous) but I never got round to it and bought the Brembo four pots so sold the Pagids to Miller.

Callipers I bought from eBay (ALS) Mounting brackets were Chris Powell ones (280mm) Brakes lines were another eBay purchase Discs were from George Snee (RTR) There's no requirement to mill unless you want them to fit under 15s In hindsight I wouldn't bother, I'd just run proper decent pads...

Why would you not send your VIN? What can be done if someone has access to it?

Yep, that's with 25mm front and 5mm rear. Sadly one has a small buckle. I knew this when I bought them, they balance up fine but that one goes on the rear. And I kerbed a front one. As a result they're not worth what I want them to be so Ill probably just keep them and maybe run them as...

The Trophy is an outstanding handling car out of the factory. Personally I wouldn't be able to tell the difference of a few millimetres extra track width, for me spacers/different offset was more for filling the arches than anything else.

It will be a wider track by 13mm. Not sure what the impact will be but it certainly won't scrub or anything like that. I've recently been running gold Cup Turinis along with 25mm spacers without any noticeable issues, albeit just for month or two / 500 miles. 2118s should fetch good money -...
