Remaining Trophy numbers on 'How Many Left'

Another Trophy has sadly been written off this weekend. Fortunately the owner isn't badly hurt. More details on CS.net :(

    Ash's Liquid Yellow 182

Great effort - LY with factory Recaros and Sat Nav - that's a super-rare spec! All through your posts all I was thinking was, "needs Turinis" then Andy comes up trumps. Another fine example, well done.

New Forum Bugs & Issues Thread

Hi Nik, not sure how 'new' this issue is but it's new to me ;) The owners register when viewed via Tapatalk is no longer in number order but is instead sorted by the most recent post. No major problem on its own but when you can't search for a three digit number it's a bit of a challenge...

What's your mileage (after 11 years)?

No wonder I see so many Trophys on the road - turns out Renault made 1,050 of them! Now I need to find #455's twin

    North West Specialist

Your next closest specialist might be Mick Pittman at Diamond Motors in Long Eaton near Nottingham. I can't think of anyone else closer, but Birchdown are a good shout.

    If you alarm doesnt beep....

I think I read somewhere that the beeps indicate that the alarm may have been triggered. Number of beeps suggests door/bonnet/boot??

    For sale: Heater control panel.

Saw this earlier. Very tempted Paul. Will mull it over.

    Another DIY Sachs Rebuild/Service

A 'like' doesn't feel enough. Thanks for your efforts mate, having you on board is a real asset to the forum and all Trophy owners. Any options for a loan car while the dampers are being serviced would go down nicely too. Something from the factory perhaps? ;)

What's your mileage (after 11 years)?

#004 has a great excuse for low mileage given its stablemates ;)

    JMS RS2 Intake

SW Autos is Russ Fitch - big pals with Dan Potter. They own the rights to the RS2 together I believe. Both are heavy users on the CSOC Facebook group - that's where I'd start if you want an update. Sorry again for the delay responding :(

    #108 For Sale

Looks like a fantastic example! I think many alarms were fitted dock-side on arrival in the UK.

Few questions from a new owner #425

Try Renault Parts Direct for the springs, they'll give you a competitive price although that doesn't mean it'll be reasonable ;) It'll help if you can quote part numbers to them. MarcR will be able to assist with that unless someone else can first.

Former owner looking for another Trophy

Fifty grand???! I know prices are on the rise but ... Oh, that's the mileage, gotcha ;)
  15. Claude

    Brembo conversion

To be fair I think that's well priced considering it's bells & rotors, Pure Motorsport brackets and the DS1.11 pads!
  16. Claude

    Brembo conversion

I was going try Pagid RS4-2 (blue) pads after the Ferrodo DS2500s (which were great but when cold they were dire and borderline dangerous) but I never got round to it and bought the Brembo four pots so sold the Pagids to Miller.

    Brembo conversion

Callipers I bought from eBay (ALS) Mounting brackets were Chris Powell ones (280mm) Brakes lines were another eBay purchase Discs were from George Snee (RTR) There's no requirement to mill unless you want them to fit under 15s In hindsight I wouldn't bother, I'd just run proper decent pads...

What i should be looking out for when buying a Trophy

My Sachs were done by the previous owner at BG Motorsport, Silverstone in April 2011. Since then the car has covered 20,000 miles so I've budgeted for it and am expecting it to happen soon but who know when that will be?! In terms of the Trophy where the Sachs aren't fitted, I'd want to...

Please Help!, VIN for spare parts needed

Max is a long-term member and contributor of the forum. Sure, I wouldn't send it to a random punter, but as your VIN is in full view of anyone if you park publicly then I don't see it as a major issue.

Please Help!, VIN for spare parts needed

Why would you not send your VIN? What can be done if someone has access to it?

    Cup Spec Turini's

I'm not up for any more outlay, I'm just not that way inclined. I've got a set of 2118s and Trophy Turinis too so don't need any more wheels in the shed ;)
  23. Claude

    Cup Spec Turini's

Yep, that's with 25mm front and 5mm rear. Sadly one has a small buckle. I knew this when I bought them, they balance up fine but that one goes on the rear. And I kerbed a front one. As a result they're not worth what I want them to be so Ill probably just keep them and maybe run them as...

    Trophy Speedline Turini's

The Trophy is an outstanding handling car out of the factory. Personally I wouldn't be able to tell the difference of a few millimetres extra track width, for me spacers/different offset was more for filling the arches than anything else.
  28. Claude

    Trophy Speedline Turini's

It will be a wider track by 13mm. Not sure what the impact will be but it certainly won't scrub or anything like that. I've recently been running gold Cup Turinis along with 25mm spacers without any noticeable issues, albeit just for month or two / 500 miles. 2118s should fetch good money -...

    Trophy Speedline Turini's

Welcome aboard Badger, I can't remember the last time I saw a set of genuine Trophy Turinis for sale but fingers crossed something turns up. I appreciate you probably want OEM but it wouldn't hurt too much to get a tatty set of Cup Turinis and have them refurbished, although colour-match might...
