Two wheels and centre caps have now been provisionally sold, with delivery by the supplier to those who made the purchase. If there is further interest then please let me know and I will see what can be arranged. Remember, if the order is for more than 12 wheels then the discount is 20% off RRP...
So sorry to hear that. I can imagine how infuriating it must have felt! Hope you manage to sort it out and get the T back to where it was....all the best.
Didn't realise that there was an appetite for Centre Caps only - will need to check. As such a show of hands pleas so that I know how many would be needed.
Okay guys, my set of Turini Wheels and Centre Caps have arrived - they were shipped to the supplier end of last week. However, Renault UK are not playing ball and refuse to give ETA's for further sets. So if you wish you can place an order and then see what comes out of it. For those of you that...
Seals arrived, and already installed in the Trophy. A very tight fit (i.e. it clips on tightly), and is perfectly matched. The rubber is more supple than the one on the car, but that may be due to hardening over time. As such, will leave the new one on for a while and see how it goes. Seems a...
Thanks. Indeed I do buy engine oil from Opie Oils, but they don't stock Elf Tranself NFJ/NFP 75W-80 Gear Box Oil. Nielsen CDG is the cheapest I have found as a source, but was wandering whether there is anything cheaper.
Has anybody tried Elf Tranself NFJ 75W-80 in their Trophy, which is the oil officially recommended by Renault? I use the NFP variety my V6 255's, which is the recommended product for the PK6 box. I use this source...
Update: I am still waiting for an update. I have been told that the wheels appear as 'in stock' in France when my order for a set was placed last week. I have asked the supplier to confirm how many wheels are in stock. Hopefully will get an answer early next week.
One of the best pieces of information! Is this thread a sticky?
Also, could someone please confirm which Evo Issue Harry Metcalf's write up was (i.e. which month in 2009)? Thanks.
I believe the Speedline Turinis built for the 182 Trophy are built according to Renault's homologation standard.
This is also confirmed in the post below. Note the comments with regrds to their Offset and Centre Caps...
Okay understand. However, if the Renault Centre Caps will not fit the wheels sold directly by Speedline then that would be a bit of a problem, plus one would need to replace all four wheels due to the differing offsets (i.e. ET45 vs ET38/42?)
Thanks for your feedback. I have emailed my Renault supplier to check on availability of wheels - will update this thread when I hear back, which I expect to be tomorrow.
As regards, buying Turinis dirfect from Speedline, I was of the understanding that there were two issues:
1. Turinis with...
Just realised that I had posted in the wrong section (i.e. not the Group Buys & Special Offers section) - apologies!
Also, given that this is a bank holiday weekend, how about extending the deadline to Monday (26th)?
I am not sure whether there have been any group buys for Original Turini Wheels and/or OEM Centre Caps in the recent past.
The reason is I have a slightly kerbed wheel so am looking for a replacement (set) and plan on keeping the kerbed wheel as a full-sized spare (in the boot) - hate those...
Cool! Shame you have to part with it.........
Who did the build? Trust by "Quaife helicoil differential" you mean "Quaife ATB helical differential"?
Certainly does the job. Do you get torque steer under hard launch, and how do the OEM drive shafts cope with the added power/torque?
