I'm selling my Trophy due to buying a house and the mileage I will be covering soon. Im looking at getting a TDi Golf etc to PX it with.
For the mileage and condition of this car it has to be one of the cheapest around at the moment.

I noticed. Good luck.
Loads of timewasters at the moment. Had a few emails being offered various cars worth around £1k plus £7k my way, do the maths people. One guy replied saying I will give you £7.5k, afterall it's only a Clio with go faster bits.....grrrrrrrrrr!
When I was putting 488 on there last night it was live but with no pics. By the time my pics were uploaded the advert had pics on it and was marked as sold. Im not convinced it was actually for sale at that price.
Lol at the ghastly Golf comment. Im sure it will be a hoot Jamie and the engine noise will be something else.
Yeah guys, get back on topic FFS, lol. Listen to Steve and buy my car!!
I will consider any serious offer on my car, guy that was interested has gone to the darkside and bought German (only kidding mate, I'm sure you will love it).
Jamie,
If you could give me a text and let me know what time you would like to see the car on Wednesday and I will be able to give you my address etc.
Cheers
Here you go guys, 488 is up fro grabs. Just bought a house and off to spend 4 months in Iraq as of April so seems the best thing to do.

Yeah back on mainland now and will be heading to my nearest Renault dealer to get it fixed under warrenty. Feel free to PM me with the dealer name that sorted it for you, need some ammo before I go!
Tempted by the Wiliams butn the mk 1 crx, thats a little beaut. I never thought that trying to spend 3k on an older hot hatch would involve so many decisions.
Not from the garage I took it to. I was told that dampers were only covered for 6 months and as the seals were intact/not leaking then it would be fine. It still handles exactly the same and not leaking but I will try my luck with another Reno garage in the next few weeks.
Do you have...
I know exactly what you mean mate but it will have to go. I loved my VTR, went very well and they react great to a cam etc. It may well be a VTS but will need to keep my options open. Will be selling the Trophy March time and buying another car when I return to the UK in August...
Bump received cue, thanks.
bc - looked at a few in your list, 106 GTi, VTS, Mk2 GTi. I had a VTR a few cars ago which was running around 110bhp @ the wheels, was loads of fun. A VTS with the correct mods would be a hoot also.
I hate the feeling of ''going back'' but hey, that's life...
Doesn't sound good at all......
Only problem that I see, in my opinion of course, is replacing the rear dampers with ''non-sachs'' ones. Picky people would probably turn their noses up at a car like that. Me personally, as long as it handles as well then I don't see any problem.
Good...
Well, unfortunately I have to sell the Trophy. It will really really break my heart to do so but it has to go. I'm off to Iraq for 4 months as of April and have just bought a house so the money could be used better than sitting in the garage. It's not offically up for sale yet but I'm looking...
Unfortunately I may be selling in the next few months too. Just bought a house and will be travelling almost 600 miles at weekends going home. I just can't justify putting that sort of mileage on such a hot hatch icon. I know others probably do but that's up to them.
When the commuting at...
