When I got my ex-V6 255 in 2004, I remember that they did an ID colour (£1,500 option) which was metallic brown  and believe it or not, apparently there is at least one floating around the UK somewhere.
With regards to liquid yellow, they also did the Vee in another yellow - which...
Righto, as some probably already know, there are 7 '06 registered V6 255's in the UK. Renault UK have decided to sell off one of them. Its an 06 plate obviously and its in an ultra rare Moonlight blue, which to my knowledge is number 001 of 001. In other words the only one in the country...
I know what you mean, trouble with me is I'm a serial petrolhead and I just can't help myself. In my defence, I have just got rid of a range rover sport and I've got my 106 rallye up for sale - so I am making an effort.
I used to have a V6 255 and I can catagorically say that for everyday use the Trophy is quicker and more fun.
Notwithstanding the above, the V6 is a pretty special animal and deserves serious respect. I really miss my old Vee to the point of actually considering buying another one to run...
Yep, its been tuned to over 500 brake, did the Gumball earlier this year. Scared the living daylights out of me when I went in it.
What you can't see in the pic is the Merc McClaren SLR round the corner. Another league altogether. Again another Gumball car and again scared me to within an...
Yeah, its a good car - i've known the car for quite some time, I first saw the car when it was literally a couple of days old. Anyway, I always wanted first refusal on it, but unfortunately there was a few greedy people in the way. Strange how things work out but I got a chance phone call and...
Its a long story.....
but it basically boils down to incompetence by someone working for Renault  Anyway, it should be sorted out soon. I have a receipt for the car and all the handbooks, both keys, etc anyway.
Just hope there's no outstanding fines or anything
Yes, it was for sale through Rea Group, so I guess it could've been around a few sites - they wanted way too much money though. Its the Trophy that was used on a lot of the promo stuff, along with 001. Its still registered to Renault UK at the moment.
Its definitely not number 001. It's possible that number 001 might not even be registered yet. They have up to 3 years to register a new car, hence why that Clio Williams 1 thats always featured in mags, is registered on a P plate.
When it's registered or if it's already registered, the...
I really like that. Was thinking about going for the orbisound one myself, but after seeing this I might go for the Yoz. Has it got the decat or sports cat fitted?

I just hope he's a liar! Anyone selling a Trophy for that price needs mental help. I've just been thinking, it couldn't be the smashed up one that was on ebay could it - possibly had a quick, cheap repair done!
If it is every year, then I think I've invalidated my warranty!
Tell you one thing though, the dealer whom I bought the car from told me every 12k or 2 years and the book in the car does confirm this, therefore if this isn't the case, I guess Renault may end up with a law suit or two...
I've just been perusing the cliosport forum and someone on there reckons that there is a Trophy for sale in the Southern Autotrader for £9,500 ono. Apparently it looks in good nick and has done less than 15k.
How depressing is that. I just hope its a Cat D or something!
