Personally if I had lots of money and a decent collection of cars this would make a nice addition.
For anyone else this car is almost irrelevant - you're not going to get a random punter buying it to do track days and 12k a year commuting, nor are you likely to get a genuine and knowledgeable...
I think it's because when you sell an indicator stalk for £1m there's an awful lot of money to be made ;)
I do find it odd that he's still trading, but I guess it's like Jules said, he must be shifting the things he's selling.
There are better options out there, and as with so many things you can pay more and get a 'better' product.
AG SRP does a job, as does something like AutoFinesse Tripple.
Before you polish have a good read-up on preparing the paintwork (decontaminating with some like CarPro IronX, de-tarring...
Spotted on Hanover Street / Queen Street Gardens East.
Friday 23rd June at 5pm.
First Trophy spotted north of the border and I'm only here for two days.

I took a trip to Horwich near Bolton for mine. 400 mile round trip and I ended up leaving a deposit but it was the first T I looked at and I wasn't intending to buy so had nothing in place.
A week or so later I made the same journey except on the way back I was driving #455 and my Pa had to...
I've been after a couple of plates for 6-9 months now, and have just got off the phone with a nice chap at the DVLA.
I made an enquiry online months and months ago, and nothing at all.
The guy just now confirmed that the plates I was interested in had never been issued and my requests were in...
Alternative to a phase 1 stalk with a horn button on the end is an adapter bracket with buttons - horn and cruise can be retained.
Josh Gault on the CSOC Facebook group makes them in his spare time. I picked mine up today :)
I'd much rather buy a car advertised properly, rather than on eBay. Get it on Pistonheads and/or Autotrader with a well-written, thorough and comprehensive description, combined with some decent photographs and it'll sell itself.
Hi Chris, I rate AD08Rs in 195/50/15, however, I appreciate they're a road tyre focussed on dry grip.
Can be had for sub-£200 I believe (delivered, not fitted).
I see what you're saying but others have really struggled having that very same argument. I'm not aware it's worked out well for anyone, and I think Dan even went to the ombudsman.
Fortunately I have an agreed value policy but to each his own.
Let's just all agree not to crash then it becomes...
So do you have a specific agreed value policy, or market value?
If the latter and the worst happens then it appears it gets even worse as you try to argue the value of your car. There have been at least two threads in the past ~18 months where Trophy owners have had massive issues getting...
The 1990s called, they'd like their camera phone back please ;)
As I said elsewhere, what a worthy replacement for the Trophy, unless you can afford to keep both?

I think WW2017 needs to feature an awards ceremony on the Saturday evening. Full black tie optional.
Rik - nominated for best 'newcomer' ;)
Envelope is in the post if there are any left.

My 5 mile round trip commute is usually on foot so the car is mostly tucked away but when it does get driven it gets driven hard!
I feel sorry for these cars that see hundreds of miles of dull (straight) dual carriageways and motorways each month, the Trophy is so capable. At least if you do...
