don't get a lower matched on their own, waste of time.
The 182 Manifold (especially on the trophy) was different to the Ph1 172 and Ph 2 172 which suffered really badly from the step, if you look at our lower Manifold when you take it of it has a massive RS stamp on it, the previous models...
would someone mind holding my hand though this topic please.
ive had a look over on CS and ofcourse theres a whole bunch of talk with little out come. the standard 'no mines better' and i know theres a few very clever cats on here that can give me some sensible information.
my 72,000 mile...
yes!! cracked it.
so the white bit goes on before everything. and when you put on the chunky one try and get it into the rubber, and make sure it 'clips' over the 'wire C'.
post up some pics or whatever and ill have another look.
also the O ring with the groove that covers the wire, needs to sit in the rubber of the OE part. abit of oil and maybe a stainley knife you should have it.
god anyone reading this, who doesn't have these dampers but be like ' what is this kid talking about wire ect.' ha! but so long as you...
no mate thats not right.
(i know what you mean though that diagram we got was, shite)
ok so take it all off.
1.pull the damper rod out allll the way first
3.white washer first!!
4. the the OE bits
5. the litte O ring with the groove over the bit of wire (does that make sense)
6. then the...
i dunno about you guys, but sometimes my emissions light flashes at me when the cars sometimes cold or im stuck in traffic.
i changed the spark plugs the other day and this instantly cured the problem!
Renault say they will be fine for 72,000 miles but i think this could be a typing error...
omg they're still not done. like not even close!! this so frustrating. people with standard Koni's ...... how are they?? i might settle. has anyone got revalued ones from him, are they worth the wait?
Matt sounds interesting and exciting.
Can I ask a few questions though?
"After having the Mark Fish ones analysed on a suspension dyno we felt that we could offer one that is a better solution so will have something to show shortly."
What did your dnyo results show you about the mark fish Koni...
Got a quote though from a place in Oxford for 'performance white' some kinda coating that's 9 times better than ceramic .£ 370 unfortunately which especially ATM I really don't have the money for, so wrap it is I think!
Good news about the noise reduction!! I posted on here alittle while ago I...
Ah the 'mark fish' 2.5 exit. I'd been looking at this for awhile. Seems legit, but cutting up cats seems expensive if you get it wrong. Can you imagine if it failed emissions on an MOT !! I'd be livid. And out of pocket.
hmmmmm.... seems like a plan.
thanks for the water tip! though searching it would seem race/ track cars use this.
wrap all the way to the cat, most websites are saying.
Exhaust manifold heat reduction options
- Exhaust insulant wrap
- ceramic paint coating
has anyone got one of these options? or both!?
The idea is that the heat from the exhaust manifold increases performance though various pathways which i wont explain now decreases. by insuring the...
That was quite an interesting read thankyou for that. Deffinatly learnt something today. I thought I had replied to this already but I apparently i didn't. My 177 is calcuated back to the fly and not from the wheels, so you were correct there.
I was also going to ask if anyone knew of another...
Well after a day with a MR2 forum group at Trouqe of the devil it would appear I've come up alittle shy :(
Never mind I had a feeling 182 was going to be abit illusive. Just for comparison has anyone else been dynoed recently and feel like sharing?
