I had this problem.
The sensor is only held in place by the friction of a rubber washer, this means it can slip loose.
It took the Rentech guy at least 2 seconds to push it back into place.
Having read this list of posts I feel that I should point out that ESP is not just traction control.
The biggest difference ESP will make is with lift off oversteer. On and the car will slam on individual brakes and you will exit the corner slowly and alive. Off and you will end up flying...

I have a couple of questions for you.
10 track days on r888's, how many sets of tires have you gone through. (I am just curious as to how long mine might last.
Also you say you adjusted the camber last year at Spa. How did you do this as I like the idea of being able to adjust this...
I agree I am probably running the pressures too high, but this was the first time I have used these tyres and I had no info on pressures.
When on track when should I measure the pressure.
I started at 32/31, after 25 minutes on track they were 38/37.
Dropped them to 32/31. After another...
I went to Bedford aurodrome the other day and-
In the wet morning the Clio was very tail happy and a whole lot of fun.
As the track started to dry the car became amazing. As the front started to slide, a very slight lift would bring the back end gently into line with no real danger...

I had the same problem with my temperature gauge.
I took it to rentech who pushed it back in properly.
Took all of 5 seconds.
If I remember correctly it is situated down the right hand side of the engine and is a white plastic tube with a cable coming from it. Apparenty it is just held in...
Matt
Both tyres you suggest are only available in 195/50.
Have you used the R888 on a standard trophy wheel and is there any problem with rubbing etc.
Cheers
What tyre do people recommend for track use on standard trophy turinis.
I have heard the R888 are good but the nearest size is 195/50. Does this profile fit the car properly.
Also I am looking for some kind of longevity. ie do the soft kumho burn through really quickly.
These are a...

This link should take you to a video showing the difference between the original car and a few mods.
The mods are Orbisoud soft exhaust, viper induction kit, manifold match and remap.
A quick summary
The performance difference is barely...
No where in the south or online has any. (blackcircle was one of my call backs.)
I think the only chance is if somebody still has some on the shelf somewhere.
Drew, could I get the number of your local place then I would at least have one option.
Cheers

Just come back from a driver training day and my front tires are down to the indicator and look ready to delaminate.
I always planned to get new tires after this day but here's the problem THERE ARE NO EXALTOS IN THE UK. :(
All the online shops say they are available but after ordering...
I have just got a new orbisoud soft and viper induction kit.
I have 3 videos of the original setup (exhaust, under bonnet and inside car) and will and try and recreate the same videos with the new kit.
Initial feeling on the motorway is that the noise is quite boomy when on an off the throttle...
Good to know there are other trophys in the area.
Thinking of getting an Orbisoud exhaust. Do you know anyone in the South who might have one as it would great to hear one before making the investment.
