My rear belts have a bit of oil on them so hoping this comes off. Will follow the steps on here.

Great to hear and good on you for sticking with it. I've now managed to find a specialist insurer with an agreed value but to anyone that doesn't this is worth noting.

If they are brokers then surely they can find other underwriters though? It's in their interest to maintain a reputation in specialist car clubs

I can't believe how much they charge for the exhaust. I'll be looking to fit an oem system but at that money I might not bother!

Is the exhaust trophy specific or is I the same as any 182 system?

Will do. My current thinking is if I can find a low mileage Trophy then I'll sell the Williams to fund it or keep the Williams and buy a higher mileage Trophy.

Thanks for the messages, I may have to sell the Williams to keep the wife happy! Mikey, Ideally I'm after a totally original car, i fully appreciate the mods will only enhance the car but I've always been an OEM man and its the cams etc that just put me off as i'm not mechanically minded.

I appreciate these posts become a little tiresome but would much rather buy a car off an owners forum than a trader so worth asking. Currently have a Williams and looking to add a Trophy for track days and weekend blasts. Will buy on condition so open to all cars if they've been well...

Currently have a Clio Williams 3 and considering adding a Trophy to the weekend garage. I fully appreciate the Williams is an old car now but getting parts for them can be a nightmare. Are all the specific trophy bits still available from dealers? I presume they are but just wanted to check...
