My Spanish shelf could become a container

I agree Ed. This part along with arch liners, Sachs, springs, Genuine Turinis etc are becoming difficult to source if you are new to the Trophy world and prices just keep on rising. Luckily most of us old duffers on here have a shelf of bits to keep our cars going😂

Why is it after all these years of supersize alloys being the hoop of choice I still think a small diameter steelie looks so cool on anything! Maybe it’s the hankering for a compliant ride over our shocking roads.

There is a heat shield protecting the starter motor from the manifold, but I see no reason why this would be rattling

Had I similar rattle on my racing blue 182. The fuel rail protector wasn’t tightened up. This would have been removed to carry out the works. It’s held on by 2 x 10mm nuts. You will need a deep reach socket.

I’ve put my original seat frames back in #151. As you can see they are in as new condition. Im not sure what his lead time is at the moment but these have been difficult to obtain in the past. £200 plus postage.

You can rebuild your existing arms with a new swivel and press in new bushes. To be honest if you consider the labour costs along with shot blasting/powder coating the K-Tec ones with the additional stiffening plates seem a no brainer.

Having too many cars and being busy with work/family I had a right kick up the arse today. Took #151 out today and pushed hard on some of the best Dorset B roads. The turn in and the high reving NA engine Is so addictive.

Now the Racing Blue has gone to her new custodIan #151 is feeling smug right now having the Man cave to herself. New carpet fitted today before her first trip out this year at Compton Abbas tomorrow morning .

#151 will be taken out of hibernation tomorrow. Classic car meet on Sunday at Guy Richies Compton Abbas Airfield.

To be honest I think the buyer got a bargain. Yes it needs some tlc which 5k would cover. 30k to own a pristine one owner low mileage icon car is peanuts for some collectors.

I have a new set of 5s on my Abarth comp and they are a considerable leap forward from the MPS3

Still can’t believe such an important car has been presented for sale on a world wide platform with that drivers floor mat and leaves under the bonnet……..

The wheels alone on that Gordini get my vote!😂
